Hmmmm......Canadian health care........Canadian education.........I am sensing a theme here Allie! It does help that we have a long history at the school, as it opened just as my son entered kindergarten. He was part of the first class to complete all the grades (k-5) at the school. I know most of the teachers, and my girl is getting some of the same teachers that my son had. I admit I am a little nervous about who she will get, as I only know one of the four teachers, but I think he was going to ask for my girl to be in his room. He has known our family for 20 years, so I have my fingers are crossed. I admit that between her being a special needs child and a diabetic, they cannot refuse me entry into her room. I also get to go on all the field trips, because due to the diabetes, if I don't go, she doesn't go. Not necessarily fair to other parents when chaparones are restricted in number, but nothing I can do about that now. Maybe in a couple of years, when she can competently self manage, but not now. I admit.......that got a little whiny. Sorry.
