I admit....
I put signage INSIDE the fridge....and moved all my food to one side....and his two jars of condiments to the other side....so there is no confusion about it.

housemate came home and announced that he bought a gallon of ice cream to replace the one of mine that he ate. He still ate two hot dogs...but progress is progress....

I admit I'm at a loss as to how to deal with this petsitter issue. I'm unsure if I should just ask for my key back or give her a chance to say what she needs to say.

I admit either way it doesn't much matter, my husband doesn't want her in our house.

I admit I would not intentionally try to ruin someone's life.

I admit I REALLY want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I also know the circumstances

I admit I counted the pain pills in the first place because there seemed to be so little.

I don't care how crazy the cop thinks I am, I know for a fact that I could not mistakenly take 5 pills in 5 hours, and still have a conversation with my mom, talk to the cop, call the police station, count the pills, and handle the dogs. I'm not that good.

I admit this is stressing me more than it should. My husband has already written the whole thing off.

I admit....I'd get the key back FIRST. Then have the conversation. Easier than having to change locks later if she bolts with the key.

I admit Haus is right, get the keys back right away. If she stole once, who's to say she won't do it again?

I admit LW, my fridge started to go. It was avocado green, which tells you how old it was. I've got a great landlady, I talked to her on the Friday and by Saturday I had a brand new fridge, bigger than the older one.

I admit Tuesday I'm off to the dentist, as much as I hate going, I have no choice in the matter anymore. I HATE that gov't disability only covers emergencies, basically, but at least I get good drugs.

I admit I'm watching Ghost Rider/Spirit/Vengeance, the 2nd installment of Ghost Rider....MEH on that. Not as good as the first. Doesn't have Sam Elliot in it for starters.

Impy. Change the locks. It's easy to do and a guarantee that she will never have access to your house again. Even if she returns your key, doesnt mean she hasn't spent a buck on a duplicate.

get the key back and change the locks. That is what I did when someone stolen my Vicodin.

Hey...
FYI...a neat little thing that didn't cost a lot... you can buy tumbler locks for your deadbolts that come with a special key that allow you to periodically change them. That way, if you, say...bring a contractor or a cat sitter in....you can temporarily change the lock to your "I'm out of town" key and then when you get back, set it to your usual lock.

You can make as many "new" keys as you want:

I changed them as soon as I moved in because the contractor who renovated my house was a bit...shady.... changed them again when I had a new catsitter until I felt comfortable with her....

I admit...edited to add....changing the lock takes 30 seconds....free....as many times as you want

I admit that it is very bizarre when Doms listed as straight repeatedly view me on the other side (and other sites!), yet do not respond to even a friendly *waves hello*. Maybe they like my journal entries...?
