ORIGINAL: littlewonder I admit, impish, I felt the same way when Master told me to go back to school to finish my degree but ya know, here I am and I'm getting through it and it's pretty easy now. Now I wonder why I took so long to finish. I admit that you should also look into grants and scholarships. Also since your job does not have a pension you might want to think of a 401k or something similar. I admit I'm hoping my new job gets back to me this week with a start date. I know my boss is getting impatient as well and hopes he hears back from HR soon as well. I admit the closer it gets the more nervous I get about starting in something that I may actually enjoy but really do not know much about, at least not enough to start as far as I'm concerned. They seem to have more faith in me than I do. I admit this weekend went by far too quickly. I have a 401K and a nice one at that. They match a great deal. I'm just jealous of the employees that do get a pension. Of course they have been there for quite awhile. I don't actually qualify for anything anymore. I did get a few grants and a few scholarships. I'm done with school. I'm not ever going back. I graduated for the last time in 2008. I have my bachelors and masters. That's quite enough for me. :) I feel that way a lot, feeling like I am so inexperienced and having my employer have faith in me. Every once in awhile I have a moment where it all clicks. I'm asked a question and the answer is there and I know it well. Or I do something with skill, without anyone having to show me. I'm always like, huh I do know this stuff. HR ALWAYS has their own time schedule, which may not suit you or your employer, and completely sucks! Hope you hear something soon.
