The problem is PTSD.

angelika, most drugs that help or claim to reduce nightmares do so by minimizing REM sleep, which in turn affects the quality of sleep.

Besides, at this point in my life, I am trying to reduce the number of pharmaceuticals due to the fact that many have side effects or impacts other systems after prolonged use, for example statins, used in the reduction of cholesterol are linked to the causation of diabetes, liver problems and kidney function (and not in the 'could cause' but in the 'will cause.')

Of course, to be brutally honest, most drugs that are artificial in origin have detrimental affects on the body (not a quack science conspiracy theory) due to the body not being able to metabolize the compound completely.

This does not include natural compounds that can be synthesized, but drugs made completely in the lab.

Seems my lardass cats (I'm looking at YOU, Cashie) are too much for the heavy duty cardboard that the tubes are made of. YAY for PVC. I just need to figure out a non-toxic adhesive to glue the new carpeting to the pvc. Meanwhile, I am tripping over the pieces of the tower.

I love my kids, yes, I do.

Status: offline 		I admit that I have been on the phone calling relatives and friends about Mom's heart cauterization procedure. Ended up there was blockage on both sides of the heart and some in one of the arteries at 20% which is really nothing to worry about but she does have a weaken valve like I do (which is why she was probably getting so tired all the time). She should be home in time for a late dinner.

I admit I get to see the pulmonary specialist on the 18th to go over my most recent sleep study. Just another step closer to getting gastric bypass surgery (the nurse who did the study had the sleeve done and already lost 80 pounds).

I admit hi to Ash :) I love my garden, and plant stuff we can eat. I do it all organically too. There are loads of things that you can plant that are easy though that will come back every year, help the Bees, and look pretty without much work.

I admit hi to Jeff, and I get the nightmares. They are a real bitch to deal with. I was taking an antidepressant drug that was supposed to help me sleep some because I'm an insomniac, and stop the nightmares coming when I did sleep, but I felt shocking on them. It's not real sleep, and the rest of the time I felt like a fading echo of myself.

I admit that today I am feeling that Karma has paid back the balance a little. She has taken her merry time, but kicked someone's arse enough to impact their life so that their fooling around will be limited, and that pleases me You deserve it you gutless worm.

I admit my mind is ticking with possibilities for something, and I'm frustrated trying to get it all worked out

Actually, there are a number of substances that will eliminate poison ivy, Round Up being the most effective, and accepted.
