I'm sort of in a grumpy mood so please forgive me if I'm rude. I will probably seem selfish too but I'm more annoyed than anything. Why did their have to be fakes? They ruined it for EVERYONE. Why are submissives and slaves always accused of being fakes, and Mistress's and Dommes are immune to it? It's not fair. Just because I don't have a camera.. or a webcam.. I'm a fake. I have plenty of pictures, but that's not good enough. If this makes people think I'm a fake, I don't care because it's my opinion. I've had so much trouble trying to find a Mistress because they frankly don't trust me.. And to a POINT.. I understand.. But there also comes a time when people should just be trusted.

kittiekatt, i am inclined to agree with you. The fake issue cuts both ways. By sounding off here, you are expressing yourself. i think this is about the best thing you can do in this situation. Be true to yourself. You are off to a good start.

I've talked to many people (from this site) Mistresses and such.. who love my personality.. get along with me well.. then as soon as they find out I don't have a cam or a camera. Gone.

Sheesh, there sure have beena lot of whining lately. No offense hun, just seen several different post with whining subs. Face it hun, there are fakers and there are real people. It's life. This is the internet. A place that will allow a person to be whomever they choose to be. And believe it or not, there are just as many fake doms as there are subs. You just have to be patient, weed through suspicious looking profiles and one day you'll find the one who will suit your needs.

Thats my honest opinion. I wasn't trying to cry about how the world isn't fair, it's just quite annoying.

The issue of fakes and liers have hurt so many people not just here but in other parts of their lives. Pain has a way of forcing some to be protective of who they allow in your lives. Understand that some will need to see who you are just to see if there is a natural connection and honestly that seems fair. Others, will want to know who you really are inside firstand really how you come off with your words and eventually your actions will trully demostrate the type of person you really are...And this all can be said from bothsides of the whip...good luck

If you take it slow, read the literature, and trust yourself, it will be okay. Don't let anyone rush you into something that makes you even marginally uncomfortable. Consider your current approach as an integral part of your selection process. Modify your approach as you go along based on the feedback you receive--or do not receive.

why don't you get a web cam? they are relatively inexpensive. you have a computer already. borrow a cam if you feel you need to .

It's not that getting a webcam is so hard, I just think that I should be trusted without having to get one.

With respect, why should she get a web cam if she isnt comfortable or feels the need to ? It must be up to the individual to decide if they are comfy enough to use either cam or phone. On the flip side though, many users who ask for cam or phone have probably been let down before, and are just seeking verification.

KittieKatt I agree with you about the webcam thing, think of it this way they just saved you time. If they can't trust you enough just to chit chat online for awhile (I'm assuming that you're thinking of meeting with them off line at some point) and not be super pushy about the webcam well then they're not for you. I do have a webcam its fun I use it to talk with family, but if I was pushed into using it with someone I would be "bye bye" just keep looking. You're looking for the person for you.

That's probably another point. If I wasn't pushed so much into getting one I would probably be more inclined to get one by my own decision.

For everybody who thinks webcam's automatically prove who you say you are, that's not nessisarily true, I could get pictures of a friend to send you then get the friend to come on cam when Ip resent myself on cam. However it's not likely someone will go through all the hoops to present a lie on cam.
