YAY!!  I'm so glad you're feeling better.  Makes me wonder how long that infection was cookin in your body.

I've been wondering about that too.

Well, at least you're on the mend now.  Since I've been in Idaho, I've been exploring this television thing.  Thomas, being a guy, changes the channel on a regular basis, so I don't get to watch anything from beginning to end, so it's a little confusing.

Me too!!  Chelsea & I have been sitting here watching HGTV for a couple of hours & I was enjoying that.  He got up & right in the middle of it, we're now watching sponge bob.  *shudder*

You may have to kill him. Of course, that might distress Chelsea.

Yes, I think that it might distress her.  She keeps saying that she loves him.  No accounting, I say.  But he does make her laugh & they have fun.  Last night when he told her that she should go back to work next week because they couldn't afford her to take a "vacation", I really was wishing I had a stun gun at the very least.

Blushing bride, how are you?! I was delighted to hear that the wedding went well.

Oh goody, "Blushing Bride"..... Did Bear tell you about that? Now everyone will know how badly I blush. You can light a neon sign with my blushes. They even took pictures of it.

And the wedding went gorgeously, once we got there. Because of the evacuation of our apartment, things were running a tad late. *sigh*  But the weather cleared up and warmed up tremendously and things were fabulous. I'm going to be uploading pictures later and posting a link somewhere. Haven't figure out where yet. Linnea should have seen some of the pictures already through S2S.   (I was the fat heifer in the red muumuu....)

I'd love to see the pix sometime. And I very much doubt that you looked like a heifer!

You were incredibly beautiful in a gorgeous red dress!!!  Good to see ya back here.  It did look like a nice day, but I noted that the um was all bundled up.

I'll have to work on getting those up. I just can't remember if I have Flickr, Photobucket or what. (Can you tell how often I use it?)  I'm still amazed at how the weather warmed up, we literally were getting ready to cancel the park and plan for an indoor ceremony when it went from something like 6°  C to 17° C overnight.

Red seems like such a lovely wedding color. That may be the Chinese bridal color.

Eh, mum was being careful, it had been freezing earlier in the week and threatening snow but that particular day was incredible. The sun was so bright and the colours stood out. I just wish we weren't so rushed. Oh well. It was an incredible night, we were up till almost 5 in the morning with the CM gang, closed the dance down at 245 am and then moved it to our place.

And so it wasn't a muumuu.... It's a gorgeous dress and I'm so glad that Lumus had  me get it!

When I was in China, I saw the brides having their wedding photos done before the actual wedding.  They were wearing rented traditional Western white gowns for the pics.  Then they would get married in the traditional red Chinese dress.

I would love to visit China. Is it as wonderful as one imagines?

Visiting China was a fulfillment of a lifelong dream & it far exceeded my expectations.  But that was 8 years ago & China has gone through massive changes in those 8 years.  The Free Market economy is the biggest reason.  It's pretty much over-industrialized now, from what I read.
