How are you doing, Fluffy? what was the diagnoses (?), how are you feeling and should I get my mammagram scheduled despite what the new guidelines are stating. BTW, the trip to Austin was great. Spent some money, got some new clothes and sexy boy short panties.

i am a BC SURVIVOR! details in cmail, shortly. About Mammograms...the so-called new guidelines are based on a statistical study. Not on clinical trials or a double-blind study. Doctors will not deny you a mammogram if you have family history of breast cancer. What i told my daughters - "Do what you feel is best for you." Even though my mother and i both had breast cancer, our situations were different. She was pre-menopausal and i was post. With the old guidelines her's (diagnosed by palpation at age 50) would have been caught smaller/earlier, but not with the new guideline. With either guideline mine would have shown up (diagnosed at age 64).

I just had a squeeze o gram done..... abd besides thenormal masochist squeeze harder harder thought I had only one other thought I rather be safe then sorry since their is a history of cancer in my family ... is that wrong ?? Oh and I win :D

Entirely up to you, in my way of thinking. i don't care about statistics. None of us is "average"! btw - the squeeze o gram is the EASY part compared to some of the other things in their bag of tricks. Well, actually the ultrasound is the easiest.

shivers... went thru it some of the things they have in their bag with my father, he had lung cancer before he past away again, I rather get squeezed and a ultra-sound every year and be safe then be sorry later edited to get the spelling right
