I just wanna mention that in May of this year, this thread will have been running for 3 years straight.  And most of the time on the front page too.  I was off work with a broken foot when it started.  I wonder if this is a record for longest continuously running thread in the history of CollarMe?????

Doing ok.
 
i FreeCycled some more stuff today.  It's so easy...i just post something i want to get rid of and 5 - 15 people send me emails saying they want it.  i write back to the first one and then they come get it in less than 24 hours.
 
For safety i meet them at the apartment leasing office.
 
i'm going to do it again this weekend.  This is FUN!

I love FreeCycle as well.  In the last few years I have been getting rid of lots of stuff & that was one way that I did it.  When I had 4 bags of clothing to give away, I split them between two different women because I felt like there was enough to go around.  When I moved, however, I donated everything I didn't want/need/couldn't sell.

I run a CheapCycle group here in TX. The first item that was offered...roosters that were sexually harassing the woman's hens.

Now it has grown to over 100+ people and includes the Dallas area as well as Northeast Texas.

Good Morning, Lasties! How's everybody today?
 
i've already been to the vampire this morning for a regular lipids check.  (Next week is the PCP visit.)   Took a taxi to get there.  When that was done, i walked about 3/4 mile to IHOP for a "senior" breakfast and took the bus home.  i was back home by 9:00am.  The wind is blowing and the temperature dropped 10 degrees F since i got up.

On base, we move a lot. When your neighbor moves, you end up with their stuff, if you want it or not.
They push their odds and ends on whomever they see first, you race to your car, but they still catch you while carrying a topless tote of stuff...
i ended up with a big box of half used cleaners last time. i was happy. [:)] OxyClean rocks !
The 'Cycling ways sounds better, though.

i remember those days from the 1960's.  But we usually were dealing with furniture at the base.  You could get almost a complete nursery when someone moved and their family was too big for the crib and stuff.  i got a kitchen table and chairs for $15 from someone who was transferring.  Someone else gave me a coffee table.  Then i gave away the kitchen table and chairs when i moved.   i think that table and chairs never left the base. lol

Crazy but good.
i'm thinking about redoing my profile again.
Every now and again my mother snoops to see what i'm up too, in my " dangerous lifestyle " so i've tried to keep it pretty blank.
Now i'm getting unwanted Cmails again from slave-hunters.
