Of course you do, Fluffy!!  How's by you this fine mornin???  I can't stay & play very long.  I gotta get dressed & start my day soon.  [:(]

fluffypet61 -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 4:52:45 AM)

i woke up before the alarm, so i am laying in bed with the computer on a throw pillow until 8:30.  i try to get at least 6 hours of sleep and no more than 8.

i'm supposed to concentrate on cleaning the bedroom today.  i'll do half of Master's assigned chore list before lunch and then the other half later today.

Master is trying to keep me busy and not dwell on my health issues.  It also means that i am attacking the piles of "stuff" a little each day.  We're trying to get me ready to move later this year.

One of these days i really must introduce Him to FlyLady.  Her chore lists are easier than His. lol

LinnaeaBorealis -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 4:59:02 AM)

I think that's a very good idea, Fluff.  I started going through & weeding out stuff about 5 years ago.  The first winnowing was 3 pickup loads!!  The last was 5 trips to donation places in September.  When I went to Oregon to get my car & my things, I still had so much left I couldn't believe it!!!  But I do enjoy being a minimalist.

fluffypet61 -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 5:10:18 AM)

i'm going to have one room and a closet.  The room will by a parlor/sitting room with my livingroom furniture.  i will be sleeping in Master's bedroom and using His kitchen.  We still need to figure out how to get my kitchen things into His kitchen - i'm going to be His cook.

LinnaeaBorealis -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 5:26:55 AM)

I have one room & a very small closet here.  It was furnished, so I didn't have to worry about that.  And it's a Kosher kitchen, so I couldn't bring any of my kitchen things.  I really really miss my very good, very sharp knives!!  Hers are awful!  And I miss my cast iron frying pans too.  Non-stick just doesn't cook the same.

FelineFae -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 5:37:02 AM)

Is it okay if you buy brand new ones ?
Nothing beats a nice old well seasoned cast iron skillet,
but new cast iron is better than none.[sm=confused.gif]

i'm sure it will be easy enough.
Maybe hang a pot rack ?

fluffypet61 -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 5:59:05 AM)

There is a lot more besides pots and pans with handles that can hang.  Cake pans, tube pans, muffin tins, bread pans, casseroles, pie plates, strainers, graters, mixing bowls, crock pot, mixer, ice cream machine, serving dishes, coffee pot, tortilla press, toaster, cookie sheets, rolling pins, and lots more.  Then there is a 3 shelf bookcase filled with cook books.

We'll be going through all of it before i move and again after i move.

I'm not sure about what I can bring in here & what I can't.  Suffice it to say, I can't afford to buy new things & this woman has a gajillion things in the kitchen already.  I'm always afraid to open a cupboard door!!!  We've been slowly going through closets & cupboards organizing, but there isn't a single square inch of extra space!

FelineFae -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 8:49:09 AM)

Hmmm... Well, i bet learning different methods is pretty cool.

ShaharThorne -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 5:22:37 PM)

I still WIN!!!

fluffypet61 -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (1/22/2010 5:50:03 PM)
