purrrr... Working on any projects currently, fluffy ? As an exercise in patients ( Master's idea ) , i'm trying to sew a sun dress all by hand. At this rate it may be done for summer 2012 ...

i'm working on some plastic canvas needlepoint tissue box covers, a knitted afghan for Master Rich, and will be starting to knit a chemo hat of Cherry Red eyelash yarn when it arrives in the mail. All hand work but nothing to wear.

Try a tomato red or another red with a yellow/orange base. Natural redheads do better with those than with blue/pink reds.

i've felt safe with rust or earthy reds, the natural shade of my hair brings out a lot of pink in my skin and the earth colors tend to balance it, but i'm so picturing my sun dress in tomato red now ...[:D] e2a 'Can't tacklepounce anybody right now, i am human pin cushion.

Fluffy!!!!! How's it going today? Taking it easy? Fae, rust and other earthy reds are yellow-based so it's no surprise you've done well with them. It's just a matter of whether you look better in clear, bright shades or muted ones. If you look good in rust, you might not look as good in something brighter. If my mother still had her Color-Me-Beautiful swatches, I'd do your colors the next time we get together.

my mother had that book too,[:D] kept trying to get me to wear pastel colors. i am not a jordan almond... lol. i loved the ideas in the book, even as young as 7. There were perks to having a mother that was a cosmetologist, i was her little set of practice nails. 'Watched a show on TLC where someone quoted the book and was berated for it by the show's host. How silly. There are just some colors certain people can't wear.[8\|]

Syl, i did some errands today and rested the rest of the day. i try to get 10 minutes of sun each day to make vitamin D. i can't do more than 10 minutes or i get into trouble with some of my meds.

I think all mothers want their daughters to wear pastels. There are childhood pictures of me in a pale yellow [:'(] Easter dress and...wait for it...white gloves. My by the time I hit my teens, my mom had gotten into doing color consultations and selling Amway makeup. She was horrified to learn that my best colors are gasp! black, blood red, and jewel tones. LMAO.
