Found a sale on standing rib roasts at my favorite butcher. I had him carve one into some nice inch thick steaks for $2.00 lb less than the rather crummy looking rib-eye steaks down the display. A bit more time to digest, and I'll be off to play with the wife and properly round out the day.

Sounds likea great day! Our office was open, cause we gwet the day after Thanksgiving instead. But it was okay. Our department just moved to a new space, so I spent the day unpacking. There was much skepticism about whether I could fit all my crap in my office, but I did!

Getting this one off has been hit and miss for years. The office will also be closed the day after Thanksgiving. Hell, on my last job we'd have to work the Saturday after Thanksgiving as a make-up day. I hate moving. Hope you get settled quickly.

Moving can be a drag, but I got a window, which is nice. Actually feel pretty settled. All 31 boxes are empty and gone, hallelujah!

Ironically, my apartment is a wreck, so my organizing ability seems to be limited to the office. I used to say that the aprtment looked like Dresden after the war, but then the Dresden City Council threatened to sue for defamation.

That was our old place. We gained more than 1000 sq. feet when we bought the house. Right now it's easy to keep it looking good.

Having enough space definitely helps! I still miss the huge (but pricey) apartment I moved from a decade ago.
