i've never been to any of the new stadiums...i loved Candlestick & refuse to call it by its sponsor name......

And the Mariners stadium is beautiful, too.

I agree 100 freaking percent about sponsor names! I call the place Steroid Barry plays "Stick II"... Mile High is still just Mile High to me.....

sometimes i think i've just lived waaay too long...

The Superbowl is played right around my birthday these days.  We both 'started' in 1967.  So why is it always a year older than I am???

Rich, asking me anything to do with math is tricky, at best lol.

MsPoetress -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (6/3/2007 1:39:45 PM)

Amen! Preach it Brother Level!

But, but, but........... how can anyone "hate" the Cowboys??? [:D]

It gets worse, Level.  I was conceived in Port Arthur.  I'm not just a heretic, I think that makes me a traitor.  (Besides, the "cool" kids liked the Cowboys.  Couldn't very well involve myself with that now could I?)

Hi dc [8|]

dcnovice -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (6/3/2007 1:46:56 PM)

Day's okay so far, thanks. Selpt late and went to the diner for lunch. Now idling a bit before buckling down to some freelance work.

Also torturing myself by looking at the "Genius's" [sic] thread and debating the (non)existence of God.

I think my folks moved back to CA before they even knew I was on the way.  Except for a few drive-thrus, my time in Texas was all spent with guys in funny hats.

dcnovice -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (6/3/2007 2:04:02 PM)

Thanks, Level.

lilsubl -> RE: Last one to post, wins. (6/3/2007 2:08:08 PM)

Port Arthur was the home of Janis Joplin...it's mainly a bunch of refineries where i used to pick up trailer loads of petroleum products to truck out to the rest of the world...
