well he disagreed with einstien, imagine that LOL

Did you the kinds of things this guy did tho?   Still today our finest universities cant figure most of it out LOL

girl4you2 -> RE: girl4u & CL - Welcome to the future (5/25/2007 9:56:18 PM)

they killed the doggie 'cause he disagreed with edison, who wanted to discredit him and have d/c power come out on top (for the $ for niagra falls and to keep his company making more $).

now about that faster-than-a-speeding-light thang??

actually edison hated him, because edison wasnt to bright frankly, he disgreed with einstein, and i thought it was edison that killed a dog to show that teslas ac was more dangerous

Termyn8or -> RE: girl4u & CL - Welcome to the future (5/26/2007 11:29:24 AM)

"realized that his discoveries could be coopted"

Wow.

yep and i bet curious lord was not curious enough to watch it, genius that he may be, (or think he is), and he did not bother to respond to my question of how tesla could transmit electricity across the world with literally no loss and wireless!

You see it defies einstein physics and tends to short circuit peoples minds  because they cannot comprehend it as even being posssible much less understand any of it even if they have a 250 iq LOLOL

oh yeh and tesla had several disagreements with einsteins theorys, of course from his own observations and research, that is now all but lost to the world.   oh and thank the bankers and the fbi for that.

girl4you2 -> RE: girl4u & CL - Welcome to the future (5/26/2007 9:28:11 PM)

perhaps it's just that CL is an animal lover and didn't like seeing the doggie zapped. or maybe he already knows more about tessla than what was shown on a discovery channel type show. who knows. i just came back in to make sure that our "baby" is okay and prepared for her first hijack.

On the other hand perhaps he has no answer or explantion what so ever since it empircally defies einstein, and he is after all a student of einstein.

Termyn8or -> RE: girl4u & CL - Welcome to the future (5/27/2007 4:47:29 PM)

It wasn't Tesla who killed the doggie.

Blah, you guys are being silly.

The invention of Telsa's is used today.  In demonstrations.

It has a lot of bugs.  Not that the video mentions them.

dummey -> RE: girl4u & CL - Welcome to the future (5/27/2007 5:11:55 PM)

I swore he killed an elephant that went rouge in a circus... anybody kno what I'm thinking of?

CuriousLord -> RE: girl4u & CL - Welcome to the future (5/27/2007 7:23:35 PM)

Don't get the reference, though I have the feeling it's older than me.

Problems:
-Fitting things with receivers (time and cost).
-Poor efficiency.
-Electricuting things.
-Destroying satilites (not a problem when he had the idea, but it is now).

And, the number one reason?
-The thing is LOUD.

The presenter showed us how loud the small model was.  He said that those considering the project realized that a model large enough to power a city would sound like a thunder storm in the center of the city at all times.

yeh unconverted its loud

thats easy to get rid of.

yeh ONE TIME COST and trasnferable!!!  No monopoly infrastructure costs.  Then Free energy come on how could we forget that little bitty part of the equation?

Poor efficiency? how so?
