Let me know if you need more.

Rape and sexual predation of the "other team" is normative in war.

I am not saying it is right, just saying it happens and I cannot think of any armies off the top of my head
who did not do it.  I dont support what those soldiers who raped that Iraqi girl did.

The one I blame, however, is the one who sent them there.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but this made me recall a little something I read a while back. I don't have the source, but it was a science fiction book that speculated that adult men in groups, that were "outside" their societal bounds in some way, are very likely to rape. Not just during wartime, but in prisons, POW camps, environments like that.

The author is Sherri S. Tepper, I just can't remember the exact title of the book, lol.

You want an enemy propaganda video?  How about allowing the enemy to see how fucking stupid Americans are that they are idiotic enough to believe any of the crap that comes out of the whitehouse!  I mean they sit there planting a roadside bomb built from weapons left unguarded by a pisspoor invasion plan, they foment a revolution based on ethnic divisions Bush told us didn't exist, they laugh as we poor hundreds of billions of dollars into their country knowing American's were moronic enough to believe Bush when he told us it would only cost a one, and to add insult to injury, laughing years after Bush said "mission accomplished"

I am pretty sure they have had their fill of "propaganda victories" that where an actual combat vet stands as opposed to an AWOL cocksucker postures really isn't all that big a concern from a patriot defending his country from foreign invaders.

Lucky for America that the right wing assholes will all cut and run when someone invades this country so us left wing patriots can actually shot the bad guys without having to worry about shooting a Republican in the ass as they run away.

The only cowards and traitors this country has to worry about are the treasonous sons of bitches who voted for Bush.

Yikes.

But I can't disagree.

Btw, although I've never put a bumper sticker on any car I've ever owned--I'm about to adhere the one I received today:

"Enough is Enough!
Vote Democratic!"

No, the Democrats aren't saints either, but--enough is enough. This administration may have ultimately weakened the U.S. beyond repair.

"One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"

Just to clarify... what he said in the above quote does not in any way call our troops terrorists.  What it says is that some of these people we have lumped together in the almighty scary word 'terrorist' are infact people who are fighting for the freedom of their country and countrymen from the terrorists we have allowed to take root in their country (remember. Alkaida was not in Iraq until we opened it up for them) and from the various sides of insurgency which have erupted.

I am fairly certain that the Shi'ites who fight against the Sunni death squads think of thier men as freedom fighters.. and vice versa.

I am also pretty sure that most Americans can not even name the various groups who are now fighting, nor their positions... and instead lump all the 'rag heads' together as terrorists... which is the absolute shame of ignorance.
