Well, since I spoke out earlier, I will answer you as to my credentials and methods. First and foremost, before you put anyone on a workout routine or a diet you take them to a doctor first. You get a professional opion about proper weight, medical conditions, special situations, proper vitamin intake, allergies and things like that. Once you have figured out all the no-nos, you then discuss what goasl you would like your sub to meet and what goals they would like to set for themselves. Understand, once you remove unrealistic goals and develop an understanding that this will be a on going experience and not a one shot fad diet, you can move forward with open eyes about exercise and diet. Once the goals have been set, you can do two things. You can hire a nutritionist and a personal trainer or you can educate yourself. As far as physical training goes, I am into body building so I at least know the basics about exercise and what to eat. I also have a military background, as well as a martial arts back ground as well. But I err on the side of caution, just because I know what a male can endure and how I lose weight does not make me an expert on women and thier exercise and nutrional needs needs. So, I would set up training for my sub and attend the training sessions with her. Keep a log of exercises that the trainer has her do, research the areas the exercise works and reasoning behind the movement. This can go into greater detail but I am sure you all get the jist of it. As far as nutirition goes, I love to cook and I am a foodie. I have been counting calories and preparing food for my self for over 2 years now. I would see it as my duty to develop a regiment for my sub to follow nutrition wise. When someone can do that for you, it is one less stumbling block in the battle of the bulge. In short my body building experience, common sense knowledge about hiring professionals, dietary knowledge and lvoe for food assists me in helping my sub in weight loss. I have the plan developed by professionals and supplement it with my own knowledge. But the most important thing is to keep and open and honest discouse going. This is not punishment or a D/s thing only. As a sub that is working out you need to exppress when you are hurt, in bodily duress or beyond fatigue. This is not a "play" session and should be taken seriously. Pushing a person to far to fast is dangerous. Target weight loss for anyone should be between 2-3 pounds per week. Cheers,
