NEW JERSEY!!!!!!!

This reminds me of that part in the movie Waynes World where they showed Wayne and Garth in front of
a green screen showing Delaware.

Do I want to know why you want to go to New Jersey?

Sinergy

p.s.  The part of Wales I spent two weeks in was on the west coast of Pembrokeshire.

Being English living in America, England is definitely on the list and I am sure a few Brits here could help with trip planning.  Master was blown away by Stratford Upon Avon he loved it and Warwickshire Castle, we went to see real life jousting.

France and Spain are BEAUTIFUL, Paris one of my favorite city's in the whole world and Versailles is awesome, a just not to be missed experience.

Amsterdam was great for party goers and some great sight seeing, will never forget my canal trip, you can get around the city that way.  I never got to cruise the red light district because I was there on business, but I would LOVE to go with Master [;)]

The Dominican Republic was simply beautiful and very cheap, had some great tours but you can hire jeeps to tour the island on your own or go to Haiti if you have the nerve and a guide!

My brother told me Jamaica is a BLAST especially the rum party boats.. always wanted to go to that Hedonism Hotel.

Which one? The Welsh Knitting Society?

Or the one pledged to light us on the beaches, in the streets and in the hills?

I would love to have a few years and a nice bank account to travel the world, literally.
So much to see and hear and learn and so many people to meet and get to know.

My wanderlust hits the worst in the spring and the fall, as the seasons are changing.

I hope to travel to most everyplace I can get to, within reason, and the length of my life.  Not to mention my wallet. I spent a month in the UK though I didn't make it to Ireland and Wales.  I did have a blast in Scotland and England.  I really wish to go to Egypt at some point and also Italy, so I can go to see Herculaneum and various other places.  I regularly travel to Mexico since the airport at Cancun is a little over an hour flight.  I like the Yucatan pennisula with the reefs teeming with marine life and the Mayan ruins.

I have booked a river cruise on a small boat this coming April, only 80 cabins on that ship.  It starts in Amsterdam, goes down the Rhine and Danube I think, through Germany and into Budapest.  It has major stops all along the way and Vienna is one of them.  When the 15 day trip is over, I will rent a car or more than likely get a rail pass.  I plan to go to Venice, then eventually get to France and then back to Amsterdam to catch a flight back.   I had wanted to book the cruise through parts of Russia but this will be a big family trip instead.  Everyone else wanted to go through Germany.

I am working on getting my scuba certification, so I will be traveling to places with warm water as well.  [:)]

sleazybutterfly

I so recommend it- I think everyone should do such a trip at least once.
At first I thought oh how boreing it would be, or get sick of driving. Nope never happened- we had so much fun. Go where ever and stop where ever, it was fantastic!!

Central Asia, the ex Soviet Republics and visit the ancient cities there.

Michael,
Wasn't there someplace about 3,000 miles away you have been dying to visit?  Now where was that again?  *taps finger on chin trying to remember...*

SimplyMichael -> RE: Where would you travel to? (6/12/2007 3:26:11 PM)

I don't consider that traveling, I consider that comming home...
