not a diaper wearer or lover of wearing diapers, though i do work with people who have to wear them in their elder years...

we buy them at medical supply houses and wallmart.

pv, What it would help to know is if you are into the diaper or the other aspects of "babyism", which is referred to as ABDL much like the acronym BDSM.

Diapers are not a real big fetish for me, but I think they are pretty cool. I have also been bound overnight and they do come in really handy, errr, something.

Diaper lovers are a distinct group from adult babies, but they do coincide quite a bit. For example any baby aspect in my kink makeup boils down to being prevented from going to the bathroom. My interest is on a bondage angle. I don't want to feel like a bay, but it is a bit similar, all must admit that a power exchange like that is similar.

In other words I am either restrained, and it could be on the fourposter, or in a chair or whatever. Look what happened to you when you were a baby. You were strapped into carseates, put into cages.

I can't get around the fact that to bottom, to give up control does release one from all responsibility during the scene, except to not be shy to use the safeword. In a way it is like a return to childhood. and I think that is the allure for some people.

Some embrace the fetish.

Others embrace it partly out of necessity, and think it adds to the experience. I really do.

Others reject it vehemently, and I got this to say about them. I studied psychology before they fucked it all up, and their vehemence for the ABDL fetish indicates that they are insecure, or have doubts about their mental level of maturity. And let me make it clear, I am saying this is an indication, as such it probably is true of some, I am not saying all.

For some people there is a stigma to this, but there is no logical reason for it. You get on here, you like to get all tied up and shit, like me you admit that you are kinky, maybe even a freak. That's a matter of perspective. Well if you can be a kinky freak so can they. You don't have to do what they do.

Some keywords and at least partial URLs are forthcoming, but I wanted to address the lack of response, I think alot of people want to distance themselves from this. And I think it is for no good reason.

Um. Ok....I hate butting my head into something I may not know as much as others about here, but I like to think of myself as knowledable about many different types of fetishes, kinks, weird stuff, and etc. While many are not my cup of tea (vore, snuff, golden showers, etc), I like to think I can at least understand someone if they told me they had X as a fetish. AB/DL stuff happens to be one of the ones I've looked into, enough to say the following:

NEVER visit dpf.com, unless you literally want to come face to face with the worst, most cliche, stereotypical AB/DLs on the planet. I wouldn't call it a resource, more like a creepy hangout where the most extreme people who like to use the label "AB" trade insults while hitting on the underage kids that visit. Oh, and do yourselves a favor, and don't ever visit their "forums" or "chatroom". That place is just....crazy. It made me think all the AB/DL fetish people were crazy, middle aged perverted pedophiles with anger and maturity problems who were obsessed with the idea of living out their entire lives in a fantasy that hinged on them giving up their entire adult life and losing the ability to not crap themselves, all while happily telling everyone what the state of their diaper was in babytalk and the last time they saw a baby. It took me a very long time to figure out that not all AB/DLs are like that, though it really does seem like the people with that fetish who are actually *sane* are much rarer than the ones who are extremely nuts. Hence why most people online who identify as one must feel awkward about it...if I hadn't found other examples of sites besides dpf.com, I would still be thinking anyone involved in it should be in a mental hospital.

But yeah....save yourself that experience, and find better "resources" than that piece of hell.

Wow, I never heard such nasty shit about dpf.com. I've never been to their forums or anything so I will defer to one who I guess, has. As far as them hitting on the underage, the underage are not supposed to be there, but then this is the internet.

I used to peruse the aby.com archives sometimes, but they were down for so long I gave up, that's why I didn't mention them.

It would help to know if the OP is into the diapers, or the whole package. There is a (somewhat blurry) distinction between AB and DL like BD and SM.

My diapering started out as a nasty little joke long ago while being tied to the bed and left there. I got freakin hooked.

There is a huge distinction between ab and dl btw. I happen to fall in both catergories. Sometimes I rather enjoy babyplay ... errr puppyplay for me. Nothing could be more relaxing than being able to enjoy chewing on my rawhide on the living room floor and knowing theres no worries that I wont be take care of sometimes.

pup, coming out on your very first post ? Cool.

I have the lined leather locking fist mitts from Extremerestraints. I think the model is ST540, not sure. Waterhole has a puppy mask that looks like fun, not sure if it locks, but with the mitts it wouldn't matter. You wouldn't be able to remove your leash either. That might be a perfect time for a diaper, even though it's not strictly puppy.

You say you got an AB bone in you ? I guess I do too. I don't want the baby talk and certain other things, but if someone came up with an adult sized version of a car seat, I would probably cream my jeans. Something with a nice restrictive harness that can be tightened, even make it hard to breathe. Tight around the crotch to make it difficult if you have to "go".

But then that is mainly bondage, not really AB, just similar. But then I wonder just how similar ALL of it is. Giving up control is giving up control.

Hey Termyn8or, I know those mitts you're talking about....the thing I've found with fist mitts is they're all so expensive, so if you shop around you eventually save a lot. I found a very similar pair to the extremerestraints ones on http://www.backlashleather.com/ for only $40 though as compared to $129. Fist restraints are really one of those things where you could either blow tons of money, or save a lot....I spent almost $200 on mine before I found cheaper ones, I'm still kicking myself.

If you are looking for something super cheap to experiment with there try looking around at Goodwill or similar stores. People with disabilities will pass away and things like that get donated to Goodwill and be sold for a dollar or two. They are frequently high quality, although the sizes may be a little off. Walgreens sometimes have clearance packages that have been opened and returned etc. Using packing tape or wearing brief style under wear over diapers can be a good way to make too big sizes stay on place. Magic medical has pretty reasonable prices if you can manage to store a case. They carry Molicare too, which are a bit hard to find.

They're not kink aware as far as I know.
