ErNurse, but it's fun talking about race.

Just came up on Yahoo News that there's been another arrest in the case.
Myisha Ferrel, a friend of Cutts was arrested today.
Dommy, what the FUCK kind of name is "Myisha" for a guy?
It sounds like a Japanese geisha girl's name!

You don't feel there's any validity to what he said, about the media rarely covering a black person's disappearance versus doing so numerous times with a white person?

I'm guessing his girlfriend.  Here's my scenario, he has a wife, a pregnant girlfriend, and another girlfriend.  Someone had to be removed from this equation.  He's a cop, he'll get his in prison...

And why doesn't it bother YOU that there is such an obvious disparity between the concern shown by the media (and hence, the public) for those people are caucasian who've had horrible things happen to them and those who are not caucasian who've had horrible things happen to them? It's all horrible, is it not?

Rather than get upset that domiguy is tossing about the race card for a second, why not contemplate for a moment just what it is he's saying? Take even a second and contemplate the horror felt by ANYONE who might happen to go through what's been talked about in here - regardless of cultural background - and then pause for another second and wonder how it might feel to be the families when their loved ones are ignored and their cases shoved under a rug because they're simply not newsworthy.

This entire contemplative moment might take just about a minute and a half if you're expedient about it all. Isn't his idea that there's some significant disparity here worth even a minute and a half of thought? Or are the lives of people in other cultures really that inconsequential?

Domiguy pointing out the disparity doesn't make the Jessie Davis case any less horrid. It simply gives us a reason to pause and wonder about who hasn't been so cared about along the way.

And why.

It is a horrible awful thing, and i don't give a frank fuck what race they are. 

Did anyone else notice that earlier in the week they found a baby on a doorstep and thought it might be Jessie's, when it turned out it wasn't, that baby was no longer in the news... no word of mom or dad or why it was found on a doorstep?  (i think it was a doorstep, could be wrong on that)...

I  prefer to sit on my high pedistal and bitch....It reminds me of a joke....Jesus has just been crucified and summons for Peter to approach the cross....Three times Peter attempts to reach the foot of the crucifix but each time is pummeled by the Roman Guards and is pushed back down the hill.  On his fourth attempt the guards allow him to pass...Peter, bleeding and beaten, stares up at Jesus and says, "My Lord, do you have something to tell me?"
Jesus smiles and looks down at Peter and in a weak and dying voice whispers, "I can see your house from here."

Anywhooo, my dearest ernurse, the point of my post was that judging from the media reports you white women are being snatched up and killed at an alarming rate....Maybe if you all were not such betches this could all be avoided. It appears that this is has become some sort of a  horrible epidemic.

We at Domiguy Industries...Will be holding a series of free seminars hosted by ....Arisu Nakamati, Esmerelda Sanchez and Shalonda Johnson....The topic will be "White women...How to date and stay alive."

In recent history, I can't recall of a specific group of people being targeted and marked for death with the likes to what is recently happening  to my proud white sistahs.... With the exception being to what blacks had to endure during Reconstruction and the civil rights era.

Makes one think...."White women... it's the new black."

Status: offline 		We have had this discussion too many times.  I feel like I am beating a dead horse when it comes to discussing race with you.   Yes there is disparity.  Is it fair?  No... but this wasn't about race.  It was about a horrific crime committed against a PERSON!  I am to tired to get into a pissing contest with you as I just got off work.  I agree to disagree with you, but that's nothing new.

Oh... and btw... I didn't take your kidney... but I did take pictures!!!!!!!!   Be careful what you say, they could be for sale to the highest bidder!!!

Sadly, Myisha suffers from a condition that Ms. Swan of MAD TV has spoken about several times. She uh...look like a man. And, Myisha is apparently the name her mother and/or father gave her, so you'd have to take it up with them.

.....it's not about whether it was a racially motivated crime, it's about whether or not media outlets themselves are racially biased.
