i have been checking out a lot of the MISTRESSES here but all or most want finnacial tribute. That is something which will come on its own later . why at startup?

For the same reason submissives send more time complaining about the Mistresses that ask for tributes right off than they do simply hitting the NEXT button and moving to another profile.

this is just my humble opinion, but alot of ladies ask for tribute, because that tends to weed out the wannabes and posers.   Basically it is incentive to continue playing with that sub.  Myself, I don't ask for it, but I am not going to turn it down if it is offered.  I feel that asking for tribute, ya mind as well be working as a pro-domme. (which I have been considering.)

I think it has more to do with their real life needs...than any ardent desire to sift wheat from chaff.

Is it that time again ALREADY?

I agree.  If you're not looking for a pro domme, keep searching for a lifestyle domme who does not require tribute.  No one is forcing you.

i tend to agree with Trampler...if some one is willing to give thats ok but it shuldnt be a consideration for taking on slaves/ subs .

In my travels I have found that Mistresses also eat and have to pay the rent like everybody else. 
I don't think of it as tribute as much as a "souvenir" of my visit.    :)

Ok - for starters I do not ask for a tribute. But here's a head's up - telling us what "should/shouldn't" be a consideration in determining viability of a worthy sub/slave is not going to get you a positive repsonse.

*Because they can..and you don't have to pay
*Because some are Pro Doms but you don't have to use their services if you don't want too
*Because its a form of control  which you are free to not particpate in
*Because some people are totally liers and screw with not only a Mistresses time  but with their emotions and as long as your   respectful with most, you won't need to deal with tribute very long if ever 
*Because leather and latex don't grow on trees , tributes can help to cover for the cost of living out our fantasys

I'm going to go with the "because they can" answer.   Anyone can ask for anything in the world, it's up to you to decide what you are willing to give/offer the woman whom you seek to court...   My feeling is that most men who seek to court a lady don't get asked for tributes, but I could be wrong.
