oh yea considering our heater wont light and yet again for another year the thermocoupling needs replaced. i think im going to go for a low sugar high protien diet and see if it will help my weight

Alright ya all, for today I have bbq-pulled-pork sammiches. There are pickels or cole-slaw to go on them. And also chedder soup with bacon twirls on the side. Enjoy!

Its wonderful to have a day only for your self MISS H, I had mine last Monday, it was a hoot, sorry to hear about your medical condition but I am sure you will come out on top smile...I am taste testing doggies biscuits that my baby is making for our VETS GRAND OPENING,VERY GOOD JUST OATMEAL, PARSLEY TO FRESHEN THEIR BREATH AND A FEW OTHER LITTLE SECRETS ITEMS, THEY AREN'T BAD LOL...PS new profile pic, hard working man but someone has to do it lol...

I agree 100% with you girl, when Diane went from 165 to 135 and STILLS WANTED TO LOSE ANOTHER 15 POUNDS THE OL'; MAN PUT HIS FOOT DOWN AND SAID NO WAY.. Women are suppose to have curves and things for us to hang on to not to look like a stick woman that some one draws up on paper.....

Yet another fine example of letting others dictate your self worth. Confidence in appearance ties right in with that whole concept, and anyone stupid enough to let GC, Vogue, or Victoria's Secret dictate a damned thing in their private lives, then they deserve the health problems that come along with it.

As to at being a feminist problem, why are there so many overweight males? Seems to me that fat is fat. Exercise, diet, more exercise, metabolism and othr issues need to be dealt with first.

well i do know that thyroid problems and blood sugar problemsm and my doc is checking them with the blood work he did yesterday. im trying a protien rich and low sugar diet to go with the special k because its mostly protien and fiber rich diet plus i gots to start exercising more like the doc said so i think since its getting colder out ill have to find a way to do my taebo or find somewhere that i can exercise because i hardly ever get the house to my self to do taebo on the tv.

Jaq, exercise is always a good course of action to get healthier, as long as there are no medical conditions to preclude it. And cutting out sugar is always good, too. You can get plenty of carbohydrates (complex ones) from whole grain breads and veggies, so who needs sugar?

Don't worry about the weight, worry about your overall health. Lots of times exercise can make you gain, because you are forming muscle and losing fat, and the muscle weighs more.
