Yep!  I use the apple peeler/corer/slicer thing.  It does leave you with a core in the potato, but it takes very little time to slice that into fries as well!

When i learn a new skill - sometimes i overdo it a tad.

You should have seen me as a little one when i finally learned to tie my shoes...
 
i tied all the shoes in the house, even if they were not on anybody's feet.
