Would you ever submit to a professional dominatrix (for free) as a part of an agreement with a potential submissive you were courting? Purely as an educational experience?

If no, why not?

If yes, what attitude would you bring to the experiment, and what warnings/questions would you have for the professional dominant that was going to be using you for a couple of hours? What limits would you put on it?

When you answer, clarify if you are switchy already or if you have subbed before vs. always a top. I am very curious!

No, because I really can't see why it would ever be relevant to the relationship I wanted to form and if it was that important to them, it would highlight a serious incompatibility and I'd just let it go.

As part of an agreement with a potential submissive? Probably not...that kind of tit-for-tat isn't something I do in my negotiation process. Would I do it purely as an educational experience? Probably not...there are things I would much rather learn, like how to be a better volleyball player or goalkeeper. I really don't need to learn how to submit to a professional dominatrix.

I might do it for charity, as Micheal did, or for some other good cause. But not for either of the reasons you listed above.

Limits...I am not sure. I am a total pain pussy, so no pain play. I might serve as butler or wash a car or something vaguely service oriented. But I certainly wouldn't want to do anything sexual...and absolutely no penetration.

Never really subbed. Been blindfolded and tied to a radiator a long time ago...haven't done anything remotely subby since.

My very first experience in 1991 was a bottoming experience to a professional. It was part of an experiment of my own, not for anyone else. Since then, I've bottomed probably less than 5 times over the years.

Would I again, for some cockeyed reason? Sure.

Limits? Don't kill me. Okay, TRY not to kill me. I figure anything short of that would be a cakewalk.

The usual suspects already nailed it. I'm not inherently switchy. I can play bottom if need be, but it's not me. I'd do it if compelled or enticed, but neither are likely to happen. A slave or sub who expected it of me, probably wouldn't work for me. A slave or sub would probably be unlikely to encourage me to do so; I've found most female subs loathe the idea of their dominiant bottoming.

I do see the underlying cause here; it's a question of if the dominant is willing to try the other side of the whip. I don't think it's absolutely necessary for a dominant to do so, to be a good dominant, but I do believe that one who has bottomed will have a better idea of what their submissive is going through. It needn't be in a strictly D/s capacity; I bottomed for four years in the Marines.

It would confuse me quite a bit as to why a potential is making such a request and honestly I would be more comfortable letting them beat on me. I do have a slight masochistic side and if such a situation would arise, it would be to show the silly slave how much I can take. This has happened before, and afterwards I calmly told her I expected her to surpass the line my blood just drew...never heard from that one again :D

I ,also, would really wonder why a potential sub would ask something like this. I have a masochistic side but like many things I like to satisfy that when I want and how I want. I generally try to keep an open mind, and I try to make sure that any sub feels free to ask any questions that they might have, but this is something that I don't think I would do.

I've tried to submit before, and as my wife is a former pro-domme and we thought it would be interesting, I figure that would be pretty relevant to the question but as she says to me 'You really suck as a sub'. Not much switchy in me I guess.

No, not for any "educational" purposes and it certainly wouldn't be part of any agreement I'd make with a potential sub or anyone else. I wouldn't even be "courting" her if that's what she expected of me....

Since my earliest memories I've never responded well to those asserting themselves at me. Sure, I respected authority figures etc if they exerted their authority with respect. And that was an important difference to me, even if I'd done something to deserve their attention. In my later years, it's never been my need or desire to submit to anyone, for any reason. I would have to say no. I see no more need for a dominant to understand how to be a submissive than I do for a wolf to understand how to be a rabbit. I even go so far as to not agree with the people that say it is important to test toys on yourself before on a submissive. If I think that a new whip or flogger might have more sting than normal I will probably test it on my thigh. Otherwise, sorry, but I am not ramming a vibrator up my ass just to see how it feels. Sure, I know, that isn't usually what they mean by that, but this is why people should avoid speaking in absolutes unless they have thought it through enough to consider all the implications.

I have never submitted, never intend to, and have no switch leanings.

I am not sure of the particular circumstance You set up and I go back to the Days of Yore where we started as slaves for basic training. I certainly do not block the possibility that I might someday fall head over heels for a strong woman and as my sexuality is Ds, if She was also Dominant, than which ever position Fate decrees I would accept. Love is hard enough to come upn and certainly there have been Women throughout time I would have been honored to serve.

I did have a long term friendship with a Domme and through that course our banter about the fate of the other if in collar became a source of creative mind play. Both of Us were frustrated periodically by subs who thought they might be slaves and talked of having one who understood the depths of the life. We had reached the stage of gambling for Dominance in a series of chess games with all the enjoyments of Power about- good Port and Wine, a fine meal, a naked maid and had talked with a good deal of relish over both the fate of the eventual slave and the course by which ot would proceed, the change from rivalry and friendship to possession but- Fate intervened as it often does, saving us.

It's not a question of "Would I?", it's a question of "WHY would I?" I have nothing to prove to a potiential sub/slave. If I did this, it would be because I chose to do this for myself and my journey, not to prove something to someone else.

I have known a Dom who bottomed for a demo of certain floggers and whips, but I wouldn't call it subbing, standing there and being a meatboard, and submission are completely different things to my mind. (Presumably the demo was to educate a bottom who was too afraid to be subjected without further knowledge, I'm not sure of the exact details).
