Wow I just now saw this thread.

The male sub who served us last spring experienced it, but didn't communicate it well for months. Later he explained he really needed quiet time and down time after serving, sometimes for a week at a time.

But you're right - we don't see it communicated much on these threads.

I would imagine that male subs would also experience the drop..however..they may experience it in other ways..yes endorphins are same in males and females..but..one must also take into consideration hormones..this may create the only difference...Tempting

That sounds a lot like the relationship i have with my owner. i was depressed before we even parted. i can say that, yes, male subs do get sub-drop. i woke up in a nervious panic one night not too long after we parted and all i could was clinch the pillow for dear life, wishing only that it was Her. it is a scarly lonley place in sub-drop. But the price is well worth it in the end.

They do, but they deal with it differently. Women have shopping, chocolate, shoes, friends, whining and binge eating. Men have beer and football.

Sub drop is neither gender or orientation specific. As with many things, individual differences in how, magnitude and frequency is more than the average gender differences.

i have posted on here onec but will post agen since i havnt seen thise come up for a whyll
i think all submissive and slave will have a subdrop at one time or another

I absolutely do. Even if I've been through hard punishment and through a lot of pain, I can experience it after I've left - and sometimes before I leave. My ass can be on fire and I'll be in tears because I have to leave - it's not from the pain. I just gave my body and soul to someone and now I have to leave them..........of course it's going to affect me. I do require some aftercare to keep my emotions from going crazy, but once I settle down, I'm usually fine - although she would still check up on me to make sure I was still fine.
