Risky.

Infections from digesting faeces bacteria can cause gastroenteritis and Hepatitis A and C, Salmonella, Shigella, etc. The longer the fecal matter has been expelled and in the open air, the more bacteria form.

Lots of (some) people engage in scat play. Eating it, however, is ill advised. Fecal waste is mechanically and chemically digested (or in other words, rotted) organic material. Fecal material is a haven for bacteria, including the dangerous ones like E. Coli.

Based on the long term survival of some shit eaters that I have seen on video I wonder if it really is as dangerous is claimed. I dont know.

A strangely repulsive but fascinating subject.

Plenty of people who have been hit by cars, poisoned, gotten cancer, etc have survived as well but I don't exactly think i'd trust a man who would use that logic to justify throwing me in front of a bus filled with cancerous, poisonous snakes.

I would agree with that... But there are factors not accounted for. I'm fairly sure, as with all things, a person can build a resilience to the deadlier attributes of feces. Additionally, such hardcore and specialty videos probably include a good deal of vomitting, which would purge a good amount of ingested materials.

Hmm... The body can process fiber quite well. Fiber being most indigestable things. What does the body do when it can't remove nutrients? It passes it. Assuming the body refused to digest said material, perhaps it could process quite a bit. I think what matters most is how the OP feels about it. Some people believe in complete and utter TPE, i.e. no limits, no safeword. If thats what you guys are into, then there's no point in asking.

Vomiting is actually a seperate kink. That said, I seem to recall that Veronica Moser once commented that she was repulsed by the idea when she was told to do it the first time, but found something arousing about the idea of doing it for a Dom, and set out to get used to her own on a daily basis. No mention made of vomiting.

Eating one's own shit is different to eating that of other people's, as we have more immunity to our own germs. There is a lot of interesting research around the subject, as it is practiced by the higher apes as a means of acquiring the B12 vitamins produced in the lower gut, necessary for the digestive proecesses. There is also evidence of female apes self infecting from their sick offspring in order to help produce antibodies in their milk. I would want to have the other person produce a test to say they were clear of any major diseases before even considering it, then build up immunity by exposing to very small quantities first. ie, start with rimming and move SLOWLY forward.
