And worse, its not just you at stake here... there's your daughter. You're right, she learned that bratty attitude from you. But maybe, just maybe, if she see's mom make a change in her life it might inspire her to change too. Forget about master/slave and all that right now, this is about you as a person and making a change that will help you as a person... not just in a relationship with a dominant, but in every relationship you have in your life. Only you can fix you. Course all this from an unforgiving bastard who knows nothing about respect. [8D] And BTW, you owe Level an appology, he's a pretty decent guy who was being honest with you and in no way deserved the vitriol you directed at him.

It depends on how much I had invested in the submissive. If it was in the getting to know you stage and they were bratty, I would not be interested at all. Bless the people who like bratty or sammy submissives, as they annoy me. If the brattiness was an anomaly in otherwise pleasant behavior, I would look at that. Did our interaction push his buttons? Did I press on his vulnerabilities? In that case, it's an area for exploration. It might have to do with testing boundaries of our D/s relationship. Perhaps he's had difficulty with what I want from him. Did he have a bad day? Was he stressed? In that case, we would look at appropriate ways for him to express himself. It depends, for me, on the submissive's drive and motivation. Someone who screws up but who is sincerely working at things is workable. A person who blows their top and bails would get old fast. MSS

Whoa!!! What happened to showing respect to everyone you meet? Before you start off on Level, take a look at how long he's been around and the number of posts to his credit. Level is well-known here, and respected by me at least. I thought his remark was very apt. When you are BEING a brat, you certainly are NOT being respectful. And it sure didn't take much for you to drop the trappings of pretending to be respectful and turn and snipe at him for what was really a very mild (and appropriate) question. As far as brattiness goes... I would NOT punish a sub for brattiness. I would sit the sub down for a long talk. Such behavior is not cured by punishment (depending on the sub), but by behavior modification. When you say you are wanting punishment for the bad behavior, I'd venture to suggest that punishment is not the answer. As far as the Dom losing his temper... with a bratty sub on his hands, she may have done her childish acting out just once too often. Personally I would not have put up with it long enough to have gotten fed up and lost my temper, but everyone is different. What he isn't, is any of the crap you hurled in his direction. Your behavior on this thread has been far beyond anything I'd term as "bratty". It's been deserving of punishment and I am not a proponent of punishment. However, I think punishment is just what you're looking for, so I'd be damned if I gave it to you in the way that you're apparently thinking. In the end, you are the only one that can truly control your mouth and your behavior. I truly hope that you find it within yourself to change.

I happen to know him and he has his reasons for not putting much on his profile and he certainly does not have to explain them to anyone. Grow up!
