Status: offline 		I have always wondered about grabbing the suction thing at the dentists office and making a tiny incsion and trying a do it yourself for any area.  After all, they walk off and leave you there with ALL that stuff to mess with.

Yeah, I also go through the cupboards in my Dr's office.

Status: offline 		NJL glad you had a real time experience that was just the right amount of risk for you.  The idea of Safe Sane and COnsentual that is the mantra for many in this community is particularly good one for newbiies to remember and repeat to potential play partners when negotiating.  And you should not feel bad at all about negotiating and setting your limits clearly - in fact you owe it to the folks you are playing with and they to you.  It is highly unlikely that anyone wants to "freak you out" in a bad way.  There is a big difference between good pain, good edgey, and a good mind fuck and bad pain, bad edgey and a bad mind fuck....most of us are aiming for the good stuff and the line is at a different point for each individual.  Have you picked up Jay Wiseman's SM 101 book?  Or Different Loving or the New bottoming book....I think your anxiety would go down if you were to pick up one of these books and do some reading. You can get them easily from amazon. 

Proud of you that you were able to hang and had a good time.  Such a good boy!

Seriously, I think that those stirrup things that the obgyn's office is bad enough.  I, personally, want complete capability to kick the arsehole when they do something stupid and then ask, "Does that hurt?"

Status: offline 		I'm a snooper, too.  Last month when I went to the ob/gyn, I drew faces on my tits (nipples were the noses), so he had something to look at when he was doing the breast exam.  He laughed his ass off, so did his nurse.  I told him that he either needed to make the wait time less in the room, take the markers away, or expect that I was going to start rummaging through the drawers and cabinets, playing with speculums and such.  He just shook his head in defeat and said that he kind of expected as much from me. 

WTF??? 

<-----------   This face just screams innocence, appropriate behavior, respecting the sanctity of the doctor's office, etc.  I mean, doesn't it?
