earthycouple -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 8:51:43 AM)

Hampton Beach....*sigh*

Yes, there were two malls in Manchester...one was nice the other small as I recall.

mmm....geeks of the argh thread....

sappatoti -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 9:05:29 AM)

Every year... the last week of July and the first week of August... I'd set up at Wakeda Campgrounds and bicycle around that part of the state... Hampton Beach being the main focus. One year I got really bored and made a day trip up to Kennebunk, ME on bicycle, rode past the Bush's compound, got my film confiscated when I accidentally took photos of something I shouldn't have, then rode back to Hampton Falls the next day.

Sorry... just a distant memory from a very distracted fellow today.

Crap...

... all this talk of NH has me daydreaming now... wondering if it's a clear view from Mount Washington... if there's still lobsters to be had from Nicolas's in Seabrook... if the boardwalk of Salisbury or Hampton Beach is still open and going strong... if there's any berries left for the picking at The Raspberry Farm...

How's a man supposed to get any work done?... wah...

it's a VERY clear view...i can see the top from here [:D]....the lobster's at Nicolas's is still going GREAT, the boardwalk in Salisbury is still alive and well, the beachfront in hampton is unchanged and the raspberries are all picked out :(

cuffnspankme -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 9:09:25 AM)

WOW, took forever to get caught up today, you all have been busy. Now that I am caught up I am off to mow. Though I do wish to put in that I want in on the wrestling, I want dibs on b and ummmmmm I just want in on whatever else comes up while I am not here...I have to ponder my "faithfullness exception" before I reveal it...there are a couple I would consider...

Why, thank you b! I'm a bit happier now... everything seems to be as it should. Yay! :)

subinmaine2 -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 9:10:25 AM)

Hmm...the observatory is saying foggy/cloudy?  We're about a 45 minute ride from the base of mount washington and it's clear as a bell here....however it WAS foggy this morning :)

Sappa, if it makes you feel any better, you're down in sunny, warm florida....here, the maples have started changing, we had a first frost here last night (valley so....) and the deer are on the move (had two in the backyard this morning)....so, it's time to hunker down and settle in for the long cold winter :)

earthycouple -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 9:13:06 AM)

I used to love the boardwalk...we'd save change forever and a day..then hit the games to win prizes...we'd leave, as kids, with 10 or 15 junk prizes after being there for hours and falling asleep on the car ride home....ahhhhhhh memories.

Bossy, i'm sure Sir told You i lived in Tamarac (part of Ft. Lauderdale) for a few years...the change of seasons is the reason i moved back...i missed it SO much...yeah, the middle of winter SUCKS and mud season (spring) can be a pain, but it makes the summer and fall SO much worth it :)

Go ahead and tease some more... foliage... frost... and fires (camp, bon, or hearth)... what I'm craving now. It's 98 F right now, and will be back above the 100 degree mark again for like the 40th+ day in a row. It gets tiring after a while.

Daydreaming of all the natural beauty of the northern climes... wah...

I used to date a boy in New Boston...back when dating meant "hanging out in study hall or going to the mall with 15 friends" *S*  he was my first geek crush...I haven't gone back since...I love geeks of all sorts! *S*

I haven't been back to New Boston in years... the only shopping mall I recall is one in Manchester.

My mom went to Boston once to visit some friends...she bought me back a t-shirt from MIT and handed it to me and said "here, this is porbably the closest youll ever get to MIT"

I love my mom
