Prolly cause you can't spell "scholarship"... ;-)

*sending light-hearted kisses*

I posted this somewhere in another thread today.....

I became an engineer because I couldnt pass english. You do not have to know how to spell to do math. I would have had a 4.0 if I hadnt had to take english 3 times to get a D.

LOL

That must be why I'm in an engineering field as well. ;-)

cuffnspankme -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 11:08:35 AM)

I can pass any english class with flying colors. I suck at math...barely passed geometry

e01n -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 11:25:00 AM)

Resolved, all of us here in the Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! have rather well-endowed cerebrums - we wouldn't be here oterwise...

So this should not need to be a topic of discussion.

Agreed?

bindable -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 11:26:27 AM)

Yea, but look at what happens when you do poorly in math, you end up like me.  Business.  This comes before or after they remove your soul. (depends on local legislation)

Now what do I have to do to get cuffnspanked?

sappatoti -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 11:26:54 AM)

Sure... as long as we gents drop the bovine comparisons.

Come to Iowa and find out. I hope you don't mind pink leather cuffs...

I agree, no more bovine comparisons. All the men here on the Arrrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhh thread are intelligent and that makes them sexy in my eyes. It is about more then the outside appearance for me. So all of you just accept the accolades and hush.

spiral23 -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 11:33:40 AM)

i dont understand numbers and math, they make my head swim...have a deep love of the english and history. My schooling was crap though..ahh i was a troubled youth...hence back to education now.

I'm cool with that...

Actually, I have problems with animal comparisons except as a) colloquialisms and b) illustrating where cuts of meat come from. It's part of the reason why Pony/Puppy is just so... to me.

Not saying that the kink's not cool - just NOT MINE, mind...

You do well in math and you *still* wind up in business... I'm teaching people how to do taxes...

<sigh>

e01n -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 11:48:27 AM)

Input sought: former boss sent me an email asking me to come back to his company after he "fired" me by not putting me on the schedule any longer... Should I bother talking to him, or should I let him feel the silence that was his answer to me?

I'd probably go with a bit of silence first, then casually inquiring about what he wanted.

Unless, of course, you strongly desire to return to that former post because it is many times more satisfactory than whatever it is you're currently doing.

beargonewild -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 12:03:14 PM)

Why not listen to what he has to say before making any decision. Let him know you'll think over his offer for a couple days and then decide then? He will still get the pleasure of your silence yet will be waiting in the wings, if you do/don't decide to accept!

cuffnspankme -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 12:07:30 PM)

I agree with Bear, find out what he wants then leave him for a few days, maybe over the weekend.

e01n -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 12:18:42 PM)

Agreed - Bear's plan it is...

Not that I'm interested in the job - the email was pretty clear - but mostly to torment him.

earthycouple -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 12:23:18 PM)

I'm am good with English; suck at all things math related.

Colleges: ok...you brought it up so here goes....

  • CCC (Nursing) out of high school in Alabama.
  • JCC (general coursework) in Illinois
  • UofSF (business program) in Illiniois (learned all about religion there ....damned catholic schools).

earthycouple -> RE: Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhh! (9/6/2007 12:25:03 PM)
