ooohhhh...yays and claps and jumps around! I just got handed $100 that I get to spend on toys this upcoming weekend! YAY me.....(the insertible kind...not the thwappy kind)..... hmmm....Im considering saving the money and buying a new pair of gauntlets...... Oh wow...I need a therapist...... SIGH.......

afternoon all, just here for a sec, stuff to do around the house today...ugh. my UM will be 9 in Oct. She would love to be the boss of all the other UMs. She would even take care of the babies quite well, but no diapers, though I am sure she would try if she was allowed. Thats all for now...Head is spinning from catching up.

I used to have a SUPER simple pattern for gauntlets.. you could make either clamshells, half-gauntlets or fully-articulated finger gauntlets from it (considering basically everything from the knuckles to the wrist and beyond is shaped the same)... I actually finished one of the fully-articulated gauntlets.. never got around to making the other one..

So, most of what we found first off, was looking at aroun $200 for just Saturday night (yea I know..oversized van in Orlando...why am I surprised).....but, our driver was able to find us one that I just made reservations on, for $89+tx, plus I think they said $9 extra for the second driver. What Im pissed about now is...they wont let me pay for it over the phone and let the driver pick it up, I have to go down there with him, THEN hes gotta drive it back to the hotel to pick everyone us so we can go toy shopping and bar hopping at tittie bars all night before coming back to the hotel for drunken orgies....

Amazing what a 2 1/2 mile walk will do to your appetite! Ocilla...yup, got a REAL little UM...she hasn't mastered the 'runnin' around yet, but is well on her way...she'll be 7 mths on Sunday :) Angel, it was a perfect day for the walk...and, even though it's kinda cool-ish out (especially with the wind), it was QUITE the workout...lol YAY me!

One of the worst things about my Spade+Archer phase was buying shoes... I'd often ruin a pair of heels in just one gig with the jumping about and bein' all rawknrawllll. Combine with makeup and vintage dresses getting all befouled and it's amazing how we even bothered trying... I look at Ghita's shoes and say to myself "10 minutes"... I'd trash them out even just looking at them...
