I see that it is quiet. But, it is also a Monday evening, so that might be a reason. Weather is typical for FL this time of year with the addition of smoke. Not the hazy lazy smoke of far off brush fires, but at one point, the thick, choking smoke that indicates there's a fire or two in the immediate vicinity... really close... like a new, unwanted neighbor close. But, lots of sirens and the vehicles that make them, helicopters with hanging buckets, and a dozer or two cutting fire breaks, along with what has been a rare afternoon 5-minute rain shower later, the smoke is all but gone. Yay... for now. We'll see what tomorrow brings but I think we're in the clear around here. People flicking their cigarette butts out the car windows apparently started the fires today. Idiots. I suppose it was a very nice spring like day for you?
