Well, when the bastard finally told me he was going for full custody, mainly to get out of paying the $11,000 in back child support he owes me, though he says its because "he still loves me and doesn't want to see me running off to some man in a foreign country and getting married" (what bullshit, huh?) I about wanted to throttle him. He had agreed to take our youngest with no problems. Now this, 2 weeks before I was due to leave. Mainly because they thought I would just sign the paperwork and take it up the ass. I told him it would be a cold day in hell before I signed and I would see his sorry ass in court..... Ahhhhhh - life. [8\|] 8 days and counting though!!! [:D]

I told him it would be a cold day in hell before I signed and I would see his sorry ass in court..... my ex tried some shit kinda like that....she got remarried a couple years after we were divorced i maintained paying child support for eight years tryin to pay off arrears and get my drivers liscense back(didnt know where she was until i got papers when she was eight so i was already several thousand in the hole) until i got a letter stating that my ex wanted me to allow my daughters last name to be changed to his but yet i still pay child support and medical on a child (yes mine but keep in mind i have not been aloowed to see her or even a picture of her since she was one, not to mention she has grown up calling another man dad..shell be 17 on my birthday) but i said fuck that took her to court made him adopt her and got my friggin dl back......

I don't know where the ex's think up crap like this. Do they think we're stoooopid or something? My ex was stupid enough to give me the copy of the letter his attorney sent him where he was flat out told that if I didn't sign and fought it, he didn't stand a chance, because he is so far in arrears and out of compliance with the original decree that no judge would give him the time of day. So he knows he wouldn't win in court. I'm glad that you got your DL back. I never made an issue with my ex, I've been nice to him and never pushed for the back support, or current support. I figtured he was an adult, he knew when it was due, it was up to him to pay. This just shows what type of person he is....
