*and alcohol isn't sold in grocery stores here and the bottle shop is too far away, so none of that either [8D]

s'okay, only about 3 min by car. i'm back. i feel like baking, so got lotsa baking stuff. office is gonna love me this week!

see now, told you alcohol wasn't on the list. bottle shop too far down the road for now. and according to most people who drink beer, foster's isn't very good. and the stuff you get in n.america is from canada. if you want really good aussie beer, apparently XXXX is the best (that's a brand, i'm not hiding a brand name).

Well, if you had clicked on the link, you would have been able to select from a whole host of other beer other than Foster's. ;-)

And since when isn't beer sold in grocery stores? I thought that was a globally universal arrangement. Huh!

Now I'm bummed. Never mind me ... I'm heading back out into the pool ... to slip below the surface and just become one with the lack of oxygen ...

hmph, i DID click on the link!

and alcohol isn't sold in grocery stores at all here. one chain usually has a shop vy near to it (same company) but there's never a direct entry from one shop to another. possibly to keep all the underaged kidlets out of the alcohol section? don't know. it just isn't done here.

and yeah, wyldhrt, i've yet to meet an aussie that confesses to drinking the stuff (mind you, don't hang out with many beer drinker either - i hate beer)
