uh. kinda wet. rained from about 2 to 8.

i woke up this morning looking like a panda. it was vy scary.

had some glamour photo's taken yesterday. showered, to wash off the layers of face paint. obviously didn't get off all the mascara. between the scary bed hair and the panda eyes i gave myself a shock this morning!! [:o]

i get to see the results next week. once i recover from the shock of the cost, i MIGHT share the piccies. depends on how they turn out, lol....

Of course, I cannot speak for the other Arghonites, but my iBook's display is pretty much shatter-proof to such things, so you don't have to worry about that. ;-)

Thats the thing it doesnt hurt at all as long as i dont have anything laying on it. Gotta find those evil strapless bras for work tomorrow i guess. Its just peeling, and looks hideous

DV, my skin is creeping and crawling just thinking about it for you. I've had my share of bad sunburns. My sympathy to you about that burn.

Try soaking a cloth in white vinegar then laying that on the sunburn. It is an old wives tale that has always worked for me. If you're blistered though, I advise against vinegar. Ouch.

did NOT take any shots of the panda eyes. i'm not a masochist (or is that a sadist?)[:'(]

i really hope they turn out beautiful. i've only had studio pics once before, and they weren't glamour shots. i've wanted to do this since my divorce.

Im past blistered. Im peeled, mainly, though there are 2 spots where my straps lay that are extremely irritated becasue the skin was ...well... removed prematurely. I'll be fine, just a little uncomfy for a few more days. Found out Aloe gel hurts like a bitch on those 2 spots, too, so im pondering solarcaine though worried itll burn too

Not my most attractive, though I have this feeling there is a fetish for this out there somewhere

soaking in a bath of tea (throw a dozen or so tea bags in, let them steep, then crawl into it when it's tepid

and/or slather aloe vera on after. has a slight numbing quality, and heals faster as well.

my youngest is an incredibly fair skinned redhead and she tends to burn and blister vy badly at least once every summer. with a mega hole in the ozone right over australia, it's something we've learned to deal with and try to avoid at all costs.
