Ok, OMG I am so dense. I had that this week also. Its why I was such an emotional freak. Ugh I really hate it a lot with a passion. I prefer to skip them. Still emotional but not freakishly so.

bloody hell.... just got the first bit of interest from a term deposit. was anticipating it to be "this much". logged into my bank today and it's less than half of what i was expecting! call bank, we haven't got your tax file #, says he (liars) so the government skimmed 48% off before we sent you the pitiful remnants. [>:]

can't even claim it on this years tax return, because the financial year is already over! will i remember to do it next year? hah...

where's divi and her brownies?? [:(]

Weird, I just finished on Saturday.  I know when we women hang out together everyone gets in sync - but online??? Can't possibly be.  But I've also heard that if we were still predominantly outdoor creatures that the full moon is when we would each "lose our iron" - thus the saying "she is on her moon".  Well, just put us all in the menstrual hut and have the boys wait on us till we are done. he he

Top chef?  I think it will come down to Hng and KC.  Dale and Brian don't have the chops imo.  But then Eoin, Bear and I could easily cook circles around any of those wankers! Couldn't we fellas?

Eoin and Bear either of you ever been to Tom Colicchio's Craft or Craftbar?  One of the best meals of my entire life was at the bar.
I'll never forget the taste of an amuse bouche of a spoonful of pureed lentils with a small quenelle of juicy not greasy sausage wrapped in sage leaves and crisped. As the Danish chef I first trained under would say...now imagine Danish accent first...ok here goes..."its like de angels are peeing on my tongue!" and he would kind of scamper about the kitchen as he sang this out over and over after having tasted something particularly yummy.

Ummm Angel? Have you been visiting Danish chefs??? Is there a secret ingredient you want to tell us cooks about – or was he just crazy?

Oh Angel - just saw the post on the evil govt skimming.  Bad govt! And bad timing too.  Now you might be forced to move up to Donna's.  Okay, I admit it. I am evil too - just trying to get you stateside any way possible. he he)
