jeans and a t shirt....I have UMs S and a smile, of course. Right now he is organizing cook books...he has X amount of space for said books and he's paring down S my kitchen simply isn't big enough for all those books! I'll take the bait....Domi.....Great America...omg...I love it....yeah...I'll make him take me.

nope. i cleaned out old school books this afternoon. about 25 of them, she's been keeping since year 5 or so. everytime i pulled one out, i sneezed and then again. i'm exhausted! but it's all sorted.

not get rid of...oh my! just put in a less than convinient location in relationship to the kitchen...I can't fit em all in my kitchen! so they go down to the bookcase for excess books in the finished basement.

sheer talent. packing skills. and leaving a number of things behind - like furniture... some clothing items... cats... Gotta remember - I've been living out of a suitcase from contract cooking gig to gig from 2003 until last December. I've a bit of practice and not much stuff that's inessential.

I guess its been so long scince I was single and mobile....everything I owned fit into a pontiac firebird at one time...with room to lay the seat down and sleep at rest areas along the interstate. Now it takes a full sized minivan with a box on top tied to the luggage rack, and pulling a trailer full of stuff for us to go anywhere for a week!

gads.....I'm exactly that way Ghita....I couldn't go overnight this week with anything less than three bags...toy bag, clothing bag, makeup/jewelry bag...had it been two nights I would have needed a shoe bag too..and that's JUST ME. we won't get into what it takes to make the family mobile for a weekend.
