only good thing about it is the JUNK i get rid of, and the dissipation of furniture that has memories attached, or that i'm no longer attached to.

There's a certain amount of productivity I must engage in...

Seems I have a deadline on when my room/playroom needs to be completed (to reasonable standards). And that means that in addition to finding something that could be confused with a real job by EoM, I have a load-rated platform bed to make and soundtreatment to install.

I mean... I'm pretty quiet. She's pretty quiet. Can't say for sure if others are... besides, it'll cut down on the sound of my snoring reverberating throughout the house.

(audio geek moment: I'm wanting to do hard bass deflection in the corners by making them shelves with soft materials on them and an air-gapped fabric wall over it. The closet that shares a common wall with the main "living area" will be filled with clothes, but will also get a fabric entry which will also deaden things quite a bit. And if the room is still "live" after that, I can always add foam.)

Sorry for the drive-by... it was my latest piton to hold my place in the ascent of catching up... and a flag for others when they search out my posts... [;)]

lol np there e01n.....i used the foam that is used in studios on my "playroom" when i made one a few years ago.......creepy looking and I could shoot a weapon in that room and you would have never known it outside the door...good luck man.

I hope your day goes without interruption. Well, on the other hand... never mind. :)

Your solution to bass deflection sounds interesting and I'd like to know how that works for you. I've got a similar problem in the room I use as my studio with bass leakage coming through shared walls. Without breaking out the credit cards to build the double-walled treatment, I'm exploring ways to either trap or deflect those frequencies. Hopefully, the treatment will serve double-duty as well... being both a audible treatment as well as something storage functional.
