Status: offline 		She's recovering.  One last minor surgery and she'll be on the full mend.  With luck she'll be recovered within a few weeks, but it's never wise to try and rush the healing process in these types of situations.

I'll see about her coming on tonight.  She's been asking, I just haven't had time.

Status: offline 		I don't think we'll need much luck, except when it comes to introducing her to my parents, who are in their 60's, rather closed minded in several ways, and prone to bluntness.

I thought something like, "You'll never believe what I found on the internet." might be a good opening line.  Kind of like when I asked my mother, "Say, mom...how would you feel about, y'know, being a gramma?  Umm...again?"  Yeah.  Five seconds of silence and then my sis mutters, "Oh, shit.  Why did you tell her while I was still in the car...?"

My folks are pretty open minded for southerner in there late 70's but still you can easily get stuck having to explain things over and over and over and over. 

So your sister's "Oh shit" really made me laugh.  Mom and Dad live with me so when my brothers are in attendance or on duty I will definitely try to drop such a bomb and then skidaddle to leave them the explaining and analyisis. he he.  I figure they owe me...and so do they for that matter.
