I agree, though one must have a companion available and in the mood in order to share a shower. Whether you pay for the water extraction costs yourself, or pay a water district to supply the water may make no difference in the future, if some of the early-stage rumblings I'm hearing from the regional water authority actually pan out. Maybe it's just wild speculation, but I've heard talk around my area in Florida that even those with private wells will be receiving regular, periodic bills from our local and/or regional authority as a first stage in regulating the overall draw from the region's aquifer. At first, these bills to private well owners would be simply for access to the aquifer, and would be much, much less than what a municipally delivered water customer would pay (which makes sense since the private well owner is already shouldering the cost for their own maintenance). But, as time goes on, even private wells will need meters on them, which will be read by a water authority rep, and the bills will then start reflecting the amount of water drawn from the aquifer. At some point, the bills between private well owners and municipal water customers may become more similar. Again, all speculation, but as things happen around here in local Florida politics, what starts out as wild speculation often times ends up being the pain-in-the-ass truth.
