sunshine...yea...warmth...I am back in shorts today after a week of fur parkas and mittens....I just love the seasons. My plants are going into bloom. They're in for a world of surprise next week when winter comes back. Im heading into walmart for some christmas shopping in a bit....Im not exactly looking forward to it. I have yet to figure out what to buy the 18 month old. Hes the laid back type, who is going to be compleatly happy to be given the bow from the top of a present. They have so many toys they can barely find their beds, and I dont want to go out and spend money just so he has something, yet I really dont want to just give him clothes, which is actually all he needs. my younguns, the only kids I know of who have managed to space their ages and sizes out just perfectly so they cant wear handme downs because the UM before them was wearing summer clothes at the size where this one needs winter clothes...arrghhh. but I cant just give him clothes only, thats not right...he needs a toy, but what? anything I give him is gonna get stolen by the 30month old. and the baby just isnt into anything..like the older one, as long as its got a train on it, he's going to be happy..and I built him a bed for christmas(to get him out of the crib) and my mom is buying him thomas the tank engine bedding, and I bought some matching fabric to make curtains and the bedding comes with this giant stuffed thomas and my oldest UM is wrapping up this giant thomas tent he got when he was 3 to give him. So thats one UM handled. and the 8yo, we bought him one of those rockets you can shoot off in the back yard, and a shirt, and a native american walking stick, and a new video game. I think Im gonna buy him a new pair of shoes too cause the ones on his feet are falling apart. but the baby. what the hell do I buy someone who isnt even gonna notice that its christmas??
