Morning Subtee.  The guys are getting ALL geeked out over 'puters.  I do not how they could think that ANYONE could find that attractive.

Hard limit! Can't have folks geeking when I need some warmth-inducing groping...

So sorry. :-(

Since I can't come to Iowa to help warm things up personally, I thought I'd send you a pic or two. But, I don't have any depicting warm gropings... :-(

The freezing rain has stopped, my power has come back on, I have shoveled myself out of the foot-tall ridge of ice the plows assaulted me with last night after having chipped/shoveled the driveway yesterday afternoon...and the neighbor's driveway. So, things are improving! Hahahaha

hm. he may be too young for it, hard to tell sometimes, but my kids ADORED a box full of cast off clothes and hats and shoes and beads and necklaces and purses (well, they were girls) that was their dress up box. you could adjust it for the boys. it was wonderfully cheap - i just went to the nearest 2nd hand shop and found the gaudy, the glittery, the funky, the old. they had years and years of use out of it and better than videos or dvds, it stimulated their imaginations.

Nice... considering the whole archers and wizards decor.

Look sappa, that is an Elven Warmage, not a wizard.  *rolling eyes*

And I would assume, just by looking at any message that I put on this board, that people would clue in that I am a geek.  There is my UID from a web comic, and there is my .sig line from a *gasp in horror* SCIENCE FICTION series.

Any geek that would feel hurt by my comments is probably not a real geek, and if they are, they should just embrace their inner-geekiness and learn to like themselves and then they probably won't feel hurt anymore.

*And yes, I saw the silly softball smilie*

sunshine...yea...warmth...I am back in shorts today after a week of fur parkas and mittens....I just love the seasons. My plants are going into bloom. They're in for a world of surprise next week when winter comes back.

Im heading into walmart for some christmas shopping in a bit....Im not exactly looking forward to it.

I have yet to figure out what to buy the 18 month old. Hes the laid back type, who is going to be compleatly happy to be given the bow from the top of a present. They have so many toys they can barely find their beds, and I dont want to go out and spend money just so he has something, yet I really dont want to just give him clothes, which is actually all he needs. my younguns, the only kids I know of who have managed to space their ages and sizes out just perfectly so they cant wear handme downs because the UM before them was wearing summer clothes at the size where this one needs winter clothes...arrghhh. but I cant just give him clothes only, thats not right...he needs a toy, but what? anything I give him is gonna get stolen by the 30month old. and the baby just isnt into anything..like the older one, as long as its got a train on it, he's going to be happy..and I built him a bed for christmas(to get him out of the crib) and my mom is buying him thomas the tank engine bedding, and I bought some matching fabric to make curtains and the bedding comes with this giant stuffed thomas and my oldest UM is wrapping up this giant thomas tent he got when he was 3 to give him. So thats one UM handled. and the 8yo, we bought him one of those rockets you can shoot off in the back yard, and a shirt, and a native american walking stick, and a new video game. I think Im gonna buy him a new pair of shoes too cause the ones on his feet are falling apart. but the baby. what the hell do I buy someone who isnt even gonna notice that its christmas??

I know that you said toys, but how about a couple of new story books.  My UM is going to be 6mo, and so she is getting some blocks and one of those stacking rings things.  (And who knows what she is getting from grandma, I am scared to think about it)

Is the UM of the right age for one of those riding scooters?

Slinky's are cool.

And there are bug trapping kits.

Color books and crayons.

Hot Wheels.

Sticker books.

A sing a long video.

Hand puppets.

A wading pool (you are in FL, otherwise I would say saucer sled).

Alphabet magnets. (although you probably already have those)

Would any of those work?

No. . .

But then I would not post a braless nekkid pic of myself anyways as my main pic.

Why do you ask?

Naw.

I was just having fun.  That is why I pointed out that I had seen softball guy.  So that you would know that I was just having fun.

As I tell people. . . when in doubt, assume that I am pulling your leg, to check for bells.

Good morning, everyone.

Well...the snow stopped around 6 or 7 last night.  Left about 6-8 inches of white on the ground and I couldn't begin to tell you how many dented up cars.  Here's a double-pronged question...how do some people forget from one winter to the next how to drive in snow?  Why are so many of these people on their cell phones at the time they are forgetting how to drive in the snow?  You wouldn't believe how many times I almost got slid into yesterday...and in most cases, the person was on their cell phone.  Then they give you that cheesy grin...after just scaring precious moments off my life.  ~grumbles over coffee~

O.K...rant over.  How are all the delicious, delectables of Argh?  Trapped?  Subtee?  Aylee...I want pix of the gingerbread house, especially if you have populated it with degenerate creations.    Bear?  divvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvi?  angel???

Slinky's are cool.

And there are bug trapping kits.

I think you have to be big enough to trap the bugs first, but the older one might like those, unless hed try to eat the bugs, which is all in all possible with my boys
