I've had my share of suck ass, so-called dominants and I am, according to your labels, a submissive.  But not everyone fits your labels, including the wannabe dominant.

You cannot determine what's right or wrong for anyone but yourself.

If the person you've been talking to or seeing is not the type of person you want in your life for whatever reason ... just move along.  He's going to be right for someone else and it really doesn't matter one iota to you who it is or what her label might be as it isn't any of your business.

Meantime, let the anger go, reconsider what you're putting out there and try again.

By the way, to the OP, I am his slave, his submissive and his subordinate - and he's one of the best people I know. If that's not to your liking, then I'd suggest not answering his e-mails if he contacts you. But if he is...I'm sure he could help you turn that attitude you seem to have around. It may be difficult on you, but you being the sweet little submissive you claim to be <cough cough>, can surely handle it. And if not, well then, you can just wind up that shit storm you're talking about. (Amazing little demonstration of your gentleness by the way.)

Where there are some here who are getting pedantic on the labels... let me tell you where this comes from. Something we all learn is that there are a number of particularly horrid humans who write truly vile shit to people they don't know... Anyone who puts anything of themselves on their profile will find some disgusting things in their inbox.  From rape to assault to pettiness balanced out by ignorance and triviality.  It's rude and gruesome, and yes, we hit delete- but it's still in your head, and I haven't found a cerebral scrub-brush for this yet. I think the OP just had it up to here with people who assumed that because she was exploring submission, that she was something to be used or abused. 

Put yourself in her shoes for a moment... and stop focusing on the vocabulary.

I've worn those shoes and lately. You said it yourself, we all have.  Since we all have, it's left to the labeling of others in her post.  The person that tripped her "I'm sick of this shit" button is someone else's Mr. Wonderful.  I, like everyone else, have labels that I stick on things and people, but I also realize that they're mine and mine alone.  The OP wasn't educational, thought provoking or helpful.  It was a personal bitchfest.  Block and delete are the answers to unwanted attentions.  Scathing, passive-aggressive posts on public boards are not.  They will only get you what she's gotten.  Lots of people telling her to stop painting everyone with the same brush and a few saying, "Yeah, I got you."

Status: offline 		This person really gives alot of subs a bad image, I am sure that everyone knows by now they are just full of shit but still...what a immature little thing she is and trying to be a spokesperson for others..lmbao.  One thing I can say for sure is that I understand why no one serious would want a thing to do with them.  Its sad really, actually its pathetic.  Until I saw posts saying she was 40 I was going to suggest reporting them for some sort of age verification. 

Ok...so I just went and read her profile myself...wtf

I am not sure which hospital she escaped from but her "every one is out to get her and every one is inferior to her" complexes are really out of control.  Since the definations for those two words have been posted, I know that shes obviously has no clue.  But, at least she knows what she wants...to be juvenile and do her best to piss everyone off so shes not the only bitter person in the world. 

But, thats ok by me because I have a life and suck as it might at least I am content with who I am, and what I desire to learn.

BTW...what does one have to do to get some of that popcorn from earlier?  I can share the rootbeer if yall share the popcorn!

In her specific case, it is hard for anyone to stop focusing on the vocabulary. If you read her profile, the first entire paragraph is a diatribal rant about dictionaries, semantics (i.e., vocabulary) and -for some odd reason- slapping priests and people in Utah.

She wants to disguise a frustrated, out-of-control rant as an educational thread about the semantics that describe what she does/does not want to be...but that apparently only adds value to the stockholders of Orville Reddenbacher (since the popcorn-munching audience must be filling a stadium by now).

Also, this post is only my opinion...take it or leave it

It seems to me that the evolution of this dialogue has been quite understandable:
OP makes a statement. Many readers and subsequent posters disagree and express their opinions. No surprise there. Some of these posters respond in a hostile and antagonistic way, which causes OP to feel defensive as those postings are actually personal attacks instead of "intellectual discourse". OP responds in kind. No surprise there either.
To some of those posters who rail against speaking in generalities...re-read some of those posts and see where you did the same.
To posters who recommend OP should "grow up"... I  personally don't find your approach to be very adult.
To posters who resort to name calling etc...how does that serve anyone?

Do I actually think that people will become all huggy here and we'll all live happily ever after...of course not, but I do think a little more politeness (and a little less snark) on these forums could serve everyone...or most of us better.

I don't wish to hijack this thread so I will re-open the discussion in off topic.
