Actually the rodded Bug thing is left over from my first car - '66/1300. Learned how to fix them and then how to make them better. I've not really tested my car fully - I got it up to 160, saw that I had some more engine but not more road and said "adequate for the task..."

But really, being a motorhead isn't a fetish for me...

One thing that really made me uneasy was in a Louis Theroux documentary a couple of years back. Theroux specialises in documenting people with so-called 'different' lifestyles, and this show was filmed in a brothel. It may have been the Chicken Ranch, but I'm not 100%; it was somewhere in the US desert anyway.

Obviously there were a variety of fetish requests from the brothel's clientèle, but the only one that elicited an 'ew' from me was a guy who didn't wan't sex, just to pretend to be all loved up with one of the ladies. Theroux interviewed them as they sat hand-in-hand, swearing undying love, exchanging coy glances and kisses and really OTT displays of affection. I don't think it was just a case of the guy being lonely; he genuinely seemed to have a fetish for this.

I found it strange that, of all the wild fetishes and kinks out there, this pretty harmless one creeped me out more than almost any.

I could never work out why that story troubled me so much, Rafters, but that could have been part of it. He seemed an incredibly sweet, sad little guy, so maybe I just felt that he was being exploited.

But I'm even more disturbed about spelling "want" with an apostrophe in that quote above. Now that's fucked up.

That's raised a side thought
We concentrate on the obvious signs of speech control, the "this slave asks...", the "hello All/alls..." and the blatant sycophancy to people who capitalise their name.

To really break someone who loves literature and the eloquence, to make them cringe when they type, to make a little tear roll down their cheek whenever they send an email. Why not forbid them from obeying the "I before E, except after C" rule. Or from correctly punctuating. Make them spell phonetically or worse, using txt spk.

It kind of makes me wonder how many of those “Im the Dom, suxor my mighty coxer” emails, are really submissive English teachers under false profiles. Prey of a sociopathic dominant, which gets to both break their sub one post at a time. As well as make their own, real profile suddenly seem more attractive in comparison to the flood of cluelessness they have themselves unleashed.

I hope this is the case. I’d hate for those emails to be genuine attempts.
