Today my husband was grumpy, and I jokingly said "Will you PLEASE quit whining? I have played this violin until my fingers are bloody!"

Ah, well, it was pretty funny, at the moment.

What things have you had pop out of your mouth that did not run by the censor in your head?

oh my.  I bet I have one of these a day. I seldom censor what I say.  Work...the family of (and) my patient gets my censoring, very few others.

I give myself permission to not censor my self with certain people... but at the moment, that's just Her.

To disastrous effect, sometimes... But all for the best, in the end. I hope.

Professionally, there's some things I just can't talk about. I don't think that's censorship. Same with protecting someone's anonymity if they are sharing something very personal that is inappropriate for any others to know except by their mouth. Not censoring, just being conscientious and compassionate.

I remember my ex wife (the marriage was horrible, even at this point), having given birth four YEARS earlier, asking me: "Does this dress make me look fat?" and my answer was: "No, it's all the weight you never lost after the baby, that's making you look fat.".

I had no illusions about saving the marriage, even at that point but, I do wish I hadn't said that.

My exhusband should be getting used to this by now.
He was in a mood and was telling me I was the best he had ever had.
I told him half the time,I was the best he'd ever had and I didnt even know Id been had yet.

He also called me to make sure I knew his now exgf had a STD that she "might" have goten from him and I should be checked. "Well, thats what you get for spending your downtime with hookers"

About thirty five years ago I told a cop that "He was the worst hallucination I have ever had!" While I was wearing a t-shirt that read "LSD, melts in your mind, not in your mouth."

This post is not intended to condon the use of mind altering substances, it is just a statement of fact, in response to the op's question.

Like 6 weeks ago, after being spanked n beaten really good two days in a row, the 3rd day, my Domme asked me how my butt was, and i told her that it was nice n bruised and there was no need to spank me that night....Well that night, she spanked me really really hard to where i was in tears.  She hit me hard with her crop, floggers, and a wooden paddle....Needless to say i learned my place that night :)  Butt i dont regret it at all

I once told a friend I'd just had an argument with, that I thought she was a terrible mother - I took it back, and we are still friends - but I do wish I had never, ever said it to begin with.

I asked the wife of the head of my anthro department when the baby was due. Guess what? Somehow, I still managed to pass her husband's physical anthropology class.

Unfortunately, there has been more than one occasion. Like the time, after an argument, that I told my partner, "After you leave for work, I'm gonna jack off......just so I can have sex with someone who cares about me!" *L* He had a funny look on his face when he left for work.

I got thrown out of a courtroom once (during my own case) for saying 'fuck you' to someone.

Definitely not the brightest thing I've ever done.

I was in my boss's office and he had a couple of little squishy globe balls that you can exercise your hands with.  I was...well...squishing them.  Boss & I were talking and someone came in to talk to him, saw me there and said they didn't mean to interrupt.

To which I casually replied:  "Oh no problem, I'm just playing with Frank's balls."

Oops.

about 23 years ago i said something to my husband that still makes me wince when i think about it. I was drunk, and we had gotten into an argument. I yelled..."i have an idea of what a man should be like in my head...and you're not it."
Words can be horrible weapons...bruises heal...and can even be forgotten...but words tend to really stick with you....and You can't "unsay" anything once its out there.

This is so very true.  Someone might forgive what has been said to them, but you will never be able to wipe out their memory of it.  It's best to choose your words wisely and know what you are saying.  I don't always succeed at this myself, but I'm more aware lately.

yea....I have alot of these too....tend to not think before I speak

We were at a party being thrown by my Sir's boss at work. There was a live band there and the guy was handing out beads (you know, the necklace kind...cept he wasnt making the girls actually do anything to get them, it was a rather casual party and there were kids present) and I got handed a string of huge beads, they were about 3/4" diameter accross...and the first thing out of my mouth was "damn, you could use these as anal beads". Sirs boss just stared at me...so did quite a few other people...

His secretary just giggles whenever I call now...I have no idea why.....

A bit of back story on this. I was with my last toy/girlfriend for almost two years. It ended with no ill feelings. That was about a month ago. Last night, after some fun; "Look you're awesome in just about every way, but I just can't stand the thought of living with you."
