A healthy cunt can have many smells, and these smells can change as a woman's hormones changes during her cycles. A "fishy odor," is not normal. Though at times it can be quite normal for the vagina to taste or smell "sweet, acerbic (biting) cloying, or other definitions of smell. A woman's vagina is a "self-cleaning organ." I believe that there are pheromones produced by a woman's genitalia—and there is actually a communicative effect. However in today's "keep it clean, dry and sterile" world, sometimes the cultural effect is that sometimes the person "going down," expects well—nothing. Nothing is like licking the back of your hand—most cunts don't taste or smell like the back of your hand—thank goodness. But each woman has her own taste and smell—and as my niece (who is lesbian) once put it "whatever it is—it becomes 'home.'" However, while vaginal mucus can change and indeed does (as any knowledgeable dominant knows as cycles change—to his/her advantage) vaginal discharge should not smell foul or fishy. Healthy cunts do not taste or smell like old fish. If they do most likely the womas has Bacterial vaginalis—usually the culprit is Gardnerella vaginalis (Gv). If after having intercourse (male-female) the vagina smell very foul and fishy the culprit is almost certainly Gv. Why? Because the alkaline pH of semen causes the release of chemicals called amines—and guess what they smell like—yup—fish. Vaginal discharge may be grayish and it may be worse during the menses. Generally it's pretty benign—however it can be associated with IUD and other STI's (Sexually Transmitted Infections) but not always. When in doubt—get it checked out by your practioner. A practitioner will take a swab of vaginal mucus and add a drop of potassium hydroxide (an alkaline) and "sniff it." There are other tests. It can be treated with antibiotics—and though (I think it's controversial) if recurrent the male needs to be treated also. While he is asymptomatic—the both of you can "ping-pong" it back and forth. BV accounts for about 30-70% of all infectious vaginal conditions. Trichomonas vaganalis is a protozoa (less like a bacteria-more like a parasite). It too can produce a fishy amine odor—but usually the symptomology is more severe with burning and itching and often with a lot of frothy discharge, time to see your practitioner. Other causes of bad smell and discharge can be Chlalymidia trachamotis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae (Gonnorhea). So, when in doubt—check it out. Candida albicans is a fungus that is commensal (usually there) but occasionally the body lets it run amuck for one reason or another and it can multiply creating a white curdy discharge that smells like bread yeast. It is harmless—unless it gets truly out of whack. Over the counter meds can treat it—but if it persists see your practitioner. BDsbabygirl—I suspect that you hit in right on the head. You're a victim of the bland-tasteless-cunt syndrome (BTS syndrome). The cure is to hand this to your dominant: "Tell this girl how wonderful her cunt tastes and smells and order her to never douche again." Consider that Napolean used to write to Joshephine, the message delivered by runner so that she got it a few days before he got home from a campaign. The message: "I'll be there in three days—don't bathe." (True story)
