My Penis has a short attnetion span apparently. Darn thing will be working well for about .. 10-15 min, then will seem to hibernate (this is without me ejaculating). I also find myself having trouble WITH ejaculation under the attention of others. Leave it to say this had placed stress on my previous vanilla relationships and I’m also afraid of what it might do to my not-so-vanilla relationship. Any idea what i can do about this? Is it something as simple as a comfort issue? THANKS! :) ~bind

Are you taking any medications? Antidepressants often have this effect. Any other health conditions? Speaking with your doctor is probably the best way to answer your question.

No medications. Used to take the standerd battery of ADD meds (no surprise to anyone that knows me). Havent taken meds for about 5 years.

I think you should see your doctor. He might be able to prescribe something (viagra, etc) that might help.

Dude - dont sweat the viagra thing. I discovered viagra a number of years ago. I used it as a completely health male with completely healthy erections and it still made a difference! Simple fact is we don't work when we are older like we did we were 16. And it's not only that. After years of seeing others body part after anothers part - a hand on your knee just aint that darn exciting anymore. Go for it. Using viagra doesn't make you old.

Wait I just noticed this part "I also find myself having trouble WITH ejaculation under the attention of others" which suggest you have no problem ejaculating alone. Sounds like a bit of performance anxiety which I still think the viagra would help with. Knowing you have a rock solid erection that won't fail on you might give you the confidence to get past the whole thing.

ADD is probably the main cause as well. Try using the same techniques you do when you need to focus on other things here and see what happens. Cut out TV, music, take deep breaths and really get into the experience of it. Orgasming with others is actually a problem a lot more males have than people think. Don't get stressed, take it easy, be with someone you really feel secure with, practice and really teach the other person what you like and don't like.

But as a male who has been in his situation before I honestly think Viagra is the way to go. Maybe not for the rest of his life. But just to break the cycle. A man only needs 'it' to fail once to worry it will happen again. During sex he can be thinking about that more than the sex itself and predictably, 'it' fails again. Over time it can be a real problem. He states his only health problem is ADD and infered in his statement that he can orgasm while alone. Viagra can break that cycle. Having an erection that you sure as hell know isn't going to fail you - and once you feel the effects of viagra you 'get' what I am talking about - that will give him all the confidence he needs to spend the night taking his time with his partner and getting over it.

hey I'm 55 and have the same problem, i found out i had high blood pressure and I'm a diabetic that is what started it now the meds are causing it, so my tongue still works fine

One can use a rubber O-ring at the base of their penis to help maintain the firmness of their erection. But I wasn't suggesting that viagra made it easier to ejaculate. But worrying if you erection is going to last can be exactly the distraction that keeps you from cumming. This loopback cycle can really mess men up when really they dont have a physical problem. Viagra is short cut to overcoming this anxiety. Establishing an emotional connection, like you said, is the beautiful and prefered solution provided you can find a woman willing to tollerate the fact that your dick doesn't work. Sex happens way before this type of bond is established.

Everyone has mentioned Viagra, but Cialis also works well and seems to work for longer periods of time. I also belive that it could be a confidence thing. I had the same problem with a partner of mine, but after a few tries with the Cialis he didn't have any problems without it. YEAH ME!
