MstrssPassion -> RE: When should one cut all ties? (10/9/2007 1:45:31 PM)

fast reply:

If there was anything worth working out all options would be explored prior to a release. If it comes to a point where release is considered then both parties would have been part of that conversation & everything would have been spelled out prior to a decision of release. At that point, if release was the decision then all of my ties would have been cut at the point. In my book, release only occurs when two parties come to a point where the relationship is unable to move forward. There are no do-overs. Release is, "its over & we have nothing further to revisit."

With this stand there never would have been an opening for someone to attempt to manipulate or create drama such as in the case described.

I would get tested and she would never know.  One cannot allow the ex to have any control.

There would have been no second chance either.  Leopards don't change their spots :)
