I just purchased a leather cock ring, which I will probably be using on more than one person. What's a good way to sanitize it between victims?

Status: offline 		Hi MsMathtynn. WOW, what lucky Subs you have.  As for the Leather Cock Ring, I am not familiar with them, but maybe try wrapping it in plastic wrap? I am not sure how good that would do, but it is only a suggestion.

I purchased this item because it has a metal "D" ring attached, so I can clip a leash onto it. Anyone have any other fun ways of achieving this effect?

Status: offline 		Just my two cents, but perhaps if You were to take a new condom out of the package and lay the ring over it, you ought to be able to kind of roll the condom around the ring, then either slide it on the slave's cock that way(assuming it is a cock ring and not a cock and ball ring) or simply cut the tip to open a hole at the other end and then slide it on.

For clarification, imagine a Hula-Hoop and a large black trash bag.  If you can roll it tight enough, when you are done, most of the bag will be rolled around the hula-hoop except for the bottom which will be stretched tightly like a drum skin.  So then if you cut a hole in that drum skin, you are left with a plastic-wrapped hula-hoop.

Alternatively, depending on whether you are a pro or not, perhaps have a small nameplate or tag attached to the cockring with the slave's "pet" name and have one for each slave.  And keep them in seperate zip lock bags when storing.  I say pro because if they are paying You, there should be no problem spending a few extra bucks for the tags/plates.

But I do believe that, with perhaps a couple exceptions, there isn't much you can do to disinfect leather.  One because it is biological and "things" can actually live in it.  And two because it is no longer living tissue, certain products might degrade it, or even cause skin problems on your subs.

1. Take a small zip-tie, slip a small steel ring onto it, then slip the tie under the cockhead, bring the ends together on top of the cock and ZIP it closed, with the ring hanging down in front.  Then just clip your leash to that ring.   Just make sure the zip tie is tight, but not TOO tight.  :)   You might have to tie his ass down before coming after him with sharp scissors to cut the zip tie off later.  :)
2. Sort of on the same lines, I have a leather and steel "gates of hell" that has a short leather strap with a  tiny d-ring at the end that is attached to the main or base ring.  The large ring that goes around the cock AND balls.    The reason is that the gates of hell is put on, then the short strap is pulled back between my legs and padlocked to the center link of my handcuffs, with my wrists cuffed behind my back.  It is amazing for controlling someone!  The strap is so short that my cuffed wrists are sucked tight against my butt and it makes my cock ultra hard and makes me very aware of it!
Of course, this works just as well by say tying a bootlace around the sub's balls, then pulling it back through and tieing it off to his wrist bondage, be it cuffs or rope or whatever.
3. They now make urethral plugs that have a ring embedded in the tip.  They should be stainless steel which means they can be disinfected, and I am sure if You were to attach a leash to that ring, he'd be quick to respond! :)

I make my own by using $5.00 leather cat collars and punch the extra buckle holes into them so they can be cinched down to the appropriate diameter. As such, I think you can afford to buy a seperate one for each of your subs. (Many pet stores will even stamp the name of the pet onto the leather, to avoid confusion, or you can have a nice "dangly" pet ID tag hanging there, which is also a nice place to attach a leash, or weights.)

Otherwise, no, the second poster had it right. You can't really sanitize leather. Its pourus, and organic. As another poster said, you might have to look at something in rubber to use as a shared toy. Those can be cleaned with soap, water, and soaking in a 5% bleach, 95% water solution, then rinsed. (same as you would for a dildo, or other rubber sex toy.)

Status: offline 		As a Connoisseur of cock rings, I would strongly second the suggestion made by others: DON'T share the leather ones. Each sub should have their own. Also note that in some cases, it is possible to have the strap itself, even if worn only by the one individual, become contaminated. Know thine playmates.

You can certainly sterilize metal - I recommend stainless steel; the nickel plated ones at hardware stores tend to get pitting. Of course, having to do an 8 min boiling water bath might slow down the scene!

When I use to have Sessions with MADAM, she used a Leash on it. Now that I am alone, I like to tie a line to it (In bed) and then to my Ankle...so when I straightn my leg, it pulls on it.
