Sparked by the thread about the contents of toybags, I thought I'd start up a thread about something more consequential.  Forsaking discussion of the book in favor of talking about the binding, I'm wondering what everyone here uses as their toy bag.

My kink is almost invasively intertwined with my aesthetic sensibilities, so I thought I'd direct my curiosity here.  What are you currently using, and why?  Alternately, what are some of the more interesting choices of toy bag that you've seen?

I'm currently using a surprisingly nice leather briefcase I found at a church rummage sale (I'm going straight to some special sort of hell for this, I'm sure) that happens to very conveniently hold all the stuff I need except for my crop (which is too long).

We have several different toy bags. For storage at home we use black canvas duffles that we pick up at the Army Navy store for $20 bucks each. If we're teaching at an event we'll use those to carry everything we need to set up the Bullwhip Lounge.

For the special nights out we have a leather  "doctors" bag. Its a bit larger than the ones Marcus Welby (the last TV doctor that made house calls)  used to carry.

Whips have their own unique bags. One from Victor Tella and an original "Elmer's Whip Bag" which is just perfect for the long whips.

Canes are stored in a leather wrapped PVC tube (use SDR (drain) pipe, its much lighter than the typical schedule 40 or 80 you get at home improvement stores)

We also use mini bags inside the big toy bags to keep things organized. We have "bag-o-chains", "bag-o-clamps", bag-o-medical stuff" etc etc...ok I'm anal retentive about toy bag organization. BUT!!!.....doesn't it drive you crazy when you can't find what you want quickly during a scene?

Customized by me Airline approved Golf Bag Case. Designed to originally fit the entire set of clubs in their bag, it's on wheels so no lugging the weight, just roll it in and roll it out. Open the case and most of my toys are hanging there ready to use. (no need to use a table to lay them out) Two Kaboodles in the base keep it upright and are filled with those little things like clamps clothespins, extra crakers for the singletails, Blindfolds, etc
Floggers and such are hanging from cuphooks with the retention springs, Singletails when coiled hang from the hooks as well.
Canes, sjambok, etc (long thin toys) in a PVC pipe case with screw top. (Fits inside the Golf Case)
BTW it does not count as oversized on airplanes cause it's a Golf Case, LOL

I also have a rolling toolbox that I use for Fireplay tools.
I'm putting together a bloodsports kit seperate from the standard case as well.
I'm still looking for my own little doctor's bag for that use.

I'm really intrigued by the idea of a customized golf bag and am sort of failing to fully understand it from your description.  Do you happen to have pictures anywhere you could post?

I purchased a large bag from Humane Restraints some years ago. It is perfect for cuffs, straps, clamps and whatever else we care to use. The logo on the outside says " Humane Restraint Company"  Gotta love it when it raises some eyebrows!

I have a variety of bags.

One favorite is a guitar case that I did a bit of internal customization. Won't take credit for thinking it up, I saw someone else with one at a club one night. Since then, I've even seen a cello case used for the same purpose.

The long neck provides space for the long crops, canes, and floggers, and the body area provides great storage place for the smaller stuff. The one I have also has pockets on the outside for clips, and other little items. It is a soft sided case so it doesn't work well for airline transport. The hard sided guitar cases are foam and don't lend to sewing in hooks for securing stuff.

I love the hard case golf bag idea for airline travel! I need to look into that - Thanks Archer!

For the most part, I use a large, black leather carry on bag. It's one of those "Frankenstien" style bags, which is sewn together out of various smaller peices. I got it cheap at an outdoor flea market, but it's served me well for the last seven years.

I also use an archery quiver, for canes and crops. Somehow, I just like being able to reach back, and grab the next implement. At a party, it definitely broadcasts what kind of impact play you are into as well.

Not at the moment but lets see if I can clarify it a bit here.
It's hard plastic with metal reinforcement along the edges
If you google Hard Golf Bag Case the first link they give has the picture of the model I started with 3rd one down the list.
To the top of each side (inside) I attached a wood strip with 4 hooks to hang things from
Then about 1/3 of the way down on the back wall of each side I did the same 4 more hooks.
So I have a total of 16 hooks to hang stuff from inside.

my Mistress uses a small black canvas duffle with multiple pockets outside holds the smaller items such as clamps and foldable/coiling items such as floggers and signal whip plus tactile sensation toys.  For longer items such as rattan canes and riding crops a black plastic map or blueprint case is used.  This case is adjustable in length and has a screw on end cap.

http://www.securegolftravel.com/product/2SKB-5020W this is one I would like to have!

As for my toys, (for now.) I use a bag that used to be my purse.  it is black and fake suede with brass buttons on it. I just got a small flogger and will be getting a small whip soon, so I need to find something to put them in.

A note about the golf case that Master Archer uses:

Some airlines have caught on to the fact that some travelers use golf club cases to carry other things without paying for oversize luggage

For instance:
Southwest Airlines now details: Golf clubs that are transported in a hard, plastic travel case should be tagged with a regular tag.
Airtran actually lists what is allowed in the bag/case: Golfing equipment - one (1) bag including fourteen (14) clubs, twelve (12) balls and one (1) pair of shoes.

Also currently using a leather briefcase!! Mine's burgundy, with a gold combination lock, and I've had it since high school (where I used it to haul notebooks, flow sheets, and evidence cards to debate tournaments).

I never really intended to use it this way, but we just moved, and it was the only thing I could find in my house that had a lock on it! (staying with family for a while, hehe)

I use a standard albeit large Police Gear Bag. It's my standard travel bag for just about everything, including vanilla travel. It is divided into two large pockets, a longer rectangular one, and a square one. I use the rectangular one to pack my clothes and stuff in and the square one for my boots and toys when I travel. The outside of the bag has velcro to hold a cop's baton or riot stick so I just extended the straps to fit around my PVC tube that holds my canes and organizations banners when going to events.

Then each type of toy or each specific bottoms toys get transferred from the underbed storage box into the gear bag for trips. And for those I use cheap toiletry travel bags as dividers as they come in a vast variety of sizes and often have hanging hooks. Each insertable (dildo, plug, etc) goes into a Ziploc individually and then into a larger bag. I generally can travel with that to just about anything with a good sampling of the toys I'm going to want. Of course I have toys that don't leave the house and my work with www.Leatherpost.com allows me to better build my travel and my home kit.

This is just the way that I prefer to keep my toys organized. That way I can grab anything I need from the home kit under the bed and then be on the go in only a few moments.

It depends on how much gear I'm hauling.

Large quantity: black fabric rolling pullman suitcase, medium sized

Medium quantity: large black nylon range bag
http://www.galls.com/style.html?assort=general_catalog&style=BG254

Small quantity: small range bag made by Blackhawk (I dont think they sell the small ones anymore)

For my canes and long items, I exclusively use the long "flogger" case made by For Your Nymphomation.

As i have several toys and bags to put them in i split them up into what activity i will be doing at that time so i dont have to carry 6-7 bags with me .My main bag is a large  baseball bat bag .Heavy black canvas with many zippered compartments  and the bottom is able to hold long items .I do have a fly fiishing  pole bag for all my other canes and rods , 2 fire bags ,1 medical bag ,1 edge bag with all the knives and sharps ,1 electro bag with violet wands and tens -estem and all that go with that , 1 pevertables mic bag .Oftem I will just mix n match and carry the bat bag as my main stay .Thrift stores and garage sales will have the best deals on  toy holders , though i did break down and buy the only new bag the baseball bat bag new at 1/2 price at the start of baseball season .Guess it all depends on just how much gear and what your into as to what type of bag/s you need .Like Pony Play or puppy play  plan on gettng 1-2 med to large bags VS a starter set  just about any med bag or back pack will work .Bags with wheels do come in handy .

For those of you who like to carry canes and crops and or even a buggy whip...this is a GREAT place to shop:

Personally, I like the the expandable drafting tube (3"x 28-49")...which is dark and comes with the strap (oddly the others do not!), is wide enough for several toys .......er...tools, and sturdy enough not to hazzard breaking rattan.

I carry that and one of two duffle bags (one has lotsa ouchie stuff ...the other has more...um...personal items; insertables, if you will.  Generally I don't carry that one 'out'.

Yup, works for me,
Beverly

motocross gear bag, thats pretty good, had not thought of using my gear bag for that, of course i don't have that many toys yet.  as of right now, i just use my laptop back pack. it looks like a regular back pack, just says targus on the back. kind of surprised that no one said a back pack yet.

Right now I'm using a large suitcase on wheels for my toybag and have plans to get a tube case for crops and canes.
