Hmm well I am not sure about your friend though I am from the South born and raised and unfortunately the general consensus does seem to be that women here like good ole' southern country boys...... Now I believe that may have something to do with our upbringing in general, because from a young age in the south many families with young daughters begin to instill in us that a good ole boy is all we need. They say he will provide for us, care for us, love us, and ya know I think maybe back when my parents were my age and my father was courting my mother that this may have been true though so many things have changed since then. Now they are just silly boys who buy dip and keep a chew in their lip, drive big jacked up trucks and have huge muddin tires, a cage in the back where they keep their dogs when they go huntin..... They have a permanent can imprint on the back pocket of their wranglers and they wear sneakers, or work boots..... They pay absolutely no attention in school and say things like " You're mighty purdy, wanna hop in the cab of my truck and fuck? Maybe later we can go out in the pasture and have a beer or two and do it again." And I am more than entitled to make such judgements I grew up in a town with one stop light, my graduating class was 72 people, I went to school with grades 6-12 in one little ass school....... However I must say my judgements are based solely upon my interactions with those I was raised around, and unfortunately many were just like the above..... So now do we gals prefer a man like the aforementioned or a slightly more cultured, far more considerate, and thoughtful man? Well I suppose that all depends, first you must make the classification of boy, to that of man, so many still fall into the boy category....... After doing that I suppose it is all personal preference..... My personal preference would in fact be a Southern Gentleman, they are hard to come by though they exist, they are the ones who open doors, and make dinners, bring flowers on occasion, they even have trucks but they are not 6 feet off the ground and even though they aren't they still help you in. Of those you listed in your poll I would not choose any, none would work for me so I chose not to participate in the poll but I did share my thoughts.... Hope they are good enough.[:D]
