Ever watch the cult TV series "Firefly?" The girl who played River, (Summer Glau) moved like that a lot. Her Dom was a foot fetishist, and he was... really pleased with her, to say the least.

Summer danced professionally for years until injury sidelined her.

Here's an idea that I've played with. From your name, I assume you're familiar with japanese bondage. If you tie a decent body harness, with a few extra well positioned knots, it can be VERY exciting for someone who is then forced to move against the rope. This movement can come in the form of walking, forced excersize, going to work (rope would have to be under clothing, in this case), or dance :)

Dancing while bound can be mind-blowing. I've never tied anyone for a scene, but I have tied dancers for show (think mardi-gras costuming, etc). I imagine that tightening up those harnesses a bit and then forcing them to dance through an orgasm or two could be VERY fun to watch :)

I have danced both as a sub.. ( beldi dancing ) and as a Domme. I took dance for years... Jazz, Salsa, Ballroom... I love it all.

I once took a sub of mine.. and strapped him down to a chair... the candles were lit, music was down low... I had a sexy outfit on... I slowly danced around the room, singing to the song. I slowly did a strip tease.. removing my clothing down to the matching panties and bustier... I straddled his lap.. still dancing a bit and moving to the music... his hands are cuffed to the sides of the chair.. he could not touch me at all. In all of the movements and dancing I ended up masterbating myself to a screaming orgasim on his lap.. with him being unable to do a thing.
It was highly erotic... and when I set him free and gave him full liberty... *Big Smiles*

Gwyn,
Who still loves that dance scene in True Lies

You can thank me later...

Stop giving my girl ideas, she is feeling rather toppy tonight, leaned over my shoulder while reading your post and goes "mmmmmmm" in my ear.   I think I need to stand her in the corner for a few minutes.  Though it does sound really hot.
Im a white boy and might need a transfusion to get some rythm but I would love to do something like that myself.

*WEG* glad I could help....

It will put her foremost in your mind every time you go to masterbate for a long while.. and that is priceless when you simply can not get something your girl did out of your head. Have your girl read the kissing game in my profile under my journal.. that should really get her into trouble.

Thank you Irish for all the wonderful ideas and stories.

I'd also love it if people would list the music that they used.  When I was doing the scene, there was no music, she was dancing to her own rythem.  However, I know I will recreate scenes like this in the future and I would greatly enjoy hearing people's views on good styles of music to play.  Obviously R&B and bellydancing music is a good choice but I would like to hear other's ideas.

for the Dommely dancing with whips.. and stalking my prey it would have to be "Queen of the Damned" sound track. Enigma is always good.. I usualy pick some of the newer albums just about no one has heard yet.. the old are over played waaay too much in scenes. Sade is good for sensual and slow. I can't help but love Fantasia's Baby Makin' Hips song.. Santana/Chad Kroeger's "Into the Night" is a natural. Shakira's dance stuff too.

I am a sucker for Salsa.

It shows that she has some serious training. ( love that!) Dancers frequently get such horrific injuries... and it does so much damage if that is what you do professionaly. When I was in school that is what I got my scholarship on... but ending up in a wheel chair for a few months kinda squwashed it from dance injuries. Now bum knees and ankles are the least of my concerns. LOL

It is not always the milage.. but sometimes it is the wear and tear.

Archer -> RE: Dance in BDSM (11/4/2007 9:09:00 PM)

One of the hottest scenes I ever witnessed (and later incorporated the idea into a few scenes myself) was the blindfolded partner dance scene.
Blindfold them and then lead them through the dance, around the room. It really is a very trust building thing.
Moving while blind takes trust in your guide, doing it in a gracefull partner style dance gives it seduction as well as trust factors.

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: Dance in BDSM (11/4/2007 9:10:40 PM)

Archer, brings back memories of a fabulous new years dance two years ago- thanks!  I wouldn't have called that a scene, but I was cuffed and blindfolded and he did want me to dance for him...

So, the question I am here to pose is this.  Has anyone else ever worked dance into a scene, and if so, how?  Or if not, how would you like to?

Something in which I've engaged quite often is the Sun Dance, or bell dancing in which bells or fruits are sewn into the skin. The weight of the fruit or bells is acclimated to quite quickly. You should be able to google it if you're interested. I'm on a very strict time limit right now, or I'd go into more depth.

Some personal favorites of mine (mostly for their incredibly overt sexual lyrics and grinding rhythms)

Jump, Little Children - "Habit", "Body Parts"
Lovage - "Sex (I'm A)", "Archie and Veronica"
Johnny Hollow - "I'll Have You (Dark Thing Remix)"
Celldweller - "Frozen"

I tend to like a good, harsh soundtrack for some good grinding and teasing. A little while back I made a playlist for a friend's visit, and spent more than an hour teasing and grinding against him until the songs all played through. He still swears that was one of the hottest things he's ever experienced.

SlaveSuru -> RE: Dance in BDSM (11/5/2007 7:11:55 AM)

I am a professional bellydancer of almost 5 years now.  I first started when I was just about to turn 17,  the reason?  Free classes and I wanted to feel better about myself.  When I met my Mistress I danced for her pleasure at meals and parties with her firends.  I felt beautiful graceful and sexy.  The idea of submitting to someone through dance is very very erotic.

A year or so ago there was a formal dinner party up at the local club that my Master and i attended.  the submissives served during the dinner and after there was a bit of entertainment,  one person sang, another did magic tricks.  There were two of us who bellydanced that night,  myself and an older lady.   We both talked about how exciting it was while we were getting ready for the performance and I went out first.  Immediatly there was applause and some " bidding"  and then she came out and danced her solo,  the end of the night was a performance with the both of us dancing together.  To see the pride on my Master's face that night is a treasure I shall always cherish and hold dear to me.

It is amazing to think back on that night and remember the exhiliration and pride I felt that through my dance my worth and value as my Master's property was exhibited.  He exclaimed after the performance how much pride  he had for me that through my dance I had given the others in the room joy.    I still dance for him,  randomly I'll sidle up to him and dance around him or near him.  I dance when I'm doing household chores and when I'm cooking.  I love to dance and I have realized dance and submission are very much the same.  In dance the song is the Master and the submissive is the dancer moving and responding to the will of the music.    It is a very beautiful thing to experience.

MistressFaye1 -> RE: Dance in BDSM (11/5/2007 9:32:46 AM)

Interesting posts.  ClubFem FL is having a party this month.  The theme is "Harem Night".  The submissives/slaves will be doing belly dancing.

I love Gwynvyd's post.  I imagined how hot it would be to lock down all the submissives/slaves and the Ladies dance.  Oh the agony for the subs/slaves to watch their Mistresses and not be able to touch.  I could go into the details of the picture I see for a scene but the mere thought of how the outcome would be has Me sitting here with the phone in My hand, getting ready to call My favorite in!

I feel moved to test this one!  LOL....

Thanks Gwyn!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're welcome MasterShibari!
Music: percussion, percussion, percussion.

I like almost all types of music so I ask my subs what groups and types of music 'move' them. Some bring a favorite cd they have burned and I write their name on it for future reference.

A few of my faves:
Santana
Gotan project
Benise
Melissa Ethridge

Have fun!

DarkDaddyZ -> RE: Dance in BDSM (11/5/2007 10:42:03 AM)

While I don't dance I love to watch people dance for a living.  I haven't really incorporated this with my (private) scening though but it's certainly an interesting thought.  On a side note, as a Club and mix DJ, I always say that when I spin, I am topping, that I try to keep the dancefloor packed and I control the audience and bring them to me like a trance. It's a huge power trip. What good thread!

Several years ago, I was dating this lady. We had discussed my "proclivities". She invited me over one night, cooked me a lovely meal with some great wine and asked me to have a seat in the living room. Candles and middle eastern music (she was a middle eastern dancer) and suddenly she walked in (in time with dramatic moment in music of course). She began a slow sensuous dance that was wonderful to watch. Suddenly at a crescendo finish, she dropped to her knees, bowed her head and asked for the privilege of submitting to me. It took my breath away. We were inseparable until she had to return down south for family obligations. Its still the most memorable submission in my life.

This is an absolutly, awsome story.  Thank you for sharing it with us all.

a seductive (table) strip dance sounds good. i took ballroom lessons for a couple of years and salsa. there's a similarity in partner dancing to D/s.  Would love to see a hot Argentine Tango bdsm routine! that's one hot dance.

Thank you MasterShibari for letting me relive a wonderful memory.

MasterShibari -> RE: Dance in BDSM (11/5/2007 11:38:44 PM)

I have a certain scene in mind, and I'm wondering if anyone knows any heavily gothic metal that would work for a striptease.  Something intense.  Not death metal intense, but something hard.
